Do you have any advice on foam pads that are delaminating, the felt on the pad itself coming off?. I'm using the Harbor Freight da and have tried a couple different pads. I tried the cheap Harbor Freight pads and they didn't last long at all. Tried the chemical guys and lasted almost the whole car, but still came apart on me. Also, I am using a medium pressure. Any thoughts? Thanks

Do you like the Jescar correcting compound better than Griot's Fast correcting cream? I'm doing a black BMW in a few weeks before the lease is up and want it perfect for my customer. Thanks in advance for any advice
@dallaspaintcorrectionautod8343
Yes in my opinion jescar is better than griots fast correcting cream and that's because it finishes out better... What do you mean by perfect for the BMW? BMW tends to be very hard so you may need a more aggressive pad than a foam pad.. Try to focus on removing swirls, light scratches, spider webbing and hazy paint.. If it's a daily driver you don't want to remove too much clear coat:)
@geo7809
@geo7809 6 лет назад
@@dallaspaintcorrectionautod8343 it doesn't have to be a "perfect" but it's being returned from a lease and it has some minor webbing, scratches and swirl marks from drive through car washes. I just want to get most of that out. Thanks for responding to my question.

Thanks for the EXTREMELY informative videos Scott. I'm a car enthusiast and would really prefer to do my own paint correcting rather than taking it to a "detailer". I hope that you won't mind answering a question. 1. Can a 6" compact palm polisher be used rather than the larger type that you use in your videos? I bought one today before watching your videos, because I have a non-orbiting variable speed 7" polisher and I'm scared to death of damaging my paint using it. Though I have no problem spending the $70.00 for a orbiting variable speed polisher; Is it a must have to get good results? Thanks again, Liked and Subscribed.
