Here in Sweden, the 550 and the 560 are the most popular among pro as far as I know. 572 have more power but you loose production using that one compare to 560 since you move and buck faster so production go up. But it depends on size of tree and type of tree. Thx
Great video. In NZ the range is more limited but.. BUT the retail of the 565 (mechanical doppelgänger of the 572) is circa 2000 middle earth dollars, whereas a 460 is almost 1700 and a 562 is 2300, making the 565 seem like a no brainer. Interestingly there is nothing in their catalogue here between the 460 and 565 outside of the XP’s ie no 555. I have a 350 and was looking to upgrade to the 562 but the point you make about two saws has me wondering about running that 565 (572 clone) alongside the 350. I am a bit older with some shoulder deg so the weight does concern me a bit whereas 562 almost same weight as a 455 rancher I borrowed but way more power. We recently had some big storms through here which cleared out a lot of woodwork so aiming to capitalise on this opportunity but afraid the weight of the 572 class will wear me out hence the 562. The incremental gain in performance of the 562 over the 50cc class may be overshadowed by the awesomeness of the 572 but that’s no good if carrying around all day stuffs you up. A lot to think about but your demonstration is real and relatable so thanks hats off to ya. Cheers
The high end pro 500 series are all the autotune saws 550, 562, 572, 592. The "semi-pro" saws are the manuel adjustable carb saws which are the 545, 555, 565, and 585. Each respective to their autotune counterparts. Which is very interesting and leads me to wonder if you can get away with a fierce ported saw with the same performance but less money like Charles Brisco did with the echo cs 4910 as opposed to porting the cs 501p it's pro counterpart.
I don't know I'm just thinking outloud but I would love to know if the semi pro 500 saws use the same carb (minus the autotune electronics of course.) As the autotune saws given the autotune saws have a higher hp despite using the same two stroke engine.
I think my 545xp says auto tune on the cover? Not sure. My understanding it is an auto tune saw. Check back tomorrow to see how the Charles brisco echo cs4910 stacks up against the stock Husqvarna 50cc saws!
I have a 460 rancher but was thinking about getting into a larger saw but can’t decide which to go with either 572 or 592 which one would you recommend?
Can’t go wrong with either, 572xp is probably the best firewood saw Husqvarna makes. Good weight, enough power to cut small and big stuff. 592 can handle anything you throw at it and then some, however it is a little heavier and is noticeably louder. Just depends on how much wood you plan to cut each year, and if your cutting 20-30” rounds all the time or your cutting 12-20” rounds.
That was a video I could geek out on. Nice review of the lineup. Those 240 saws always sound like they are running bad. My brother has one and I have wanted to throw it into the woods and leave it there.
We filmed many more like this, they will release soon! 240 is not a favorite, sad part is me and Quentin cut dozens and dozens of good size trees with those saws back in the day not knowing there was better options out there. We would have killed for even a 450 rancher then!
@@765Guys I started with a 140’which was a similar saw. The 140 seemed to rev a bit higher than the 240. Like you, that saw probably cut 100-200 cord of wood in its day but I would never go back.
Enjoyed the video and information “Guy’s”……..now if you guy’s would just get a good camera/video person…..you would take it all to the next level 😂🤣😂 Serious, great video……… what about the 585? I like the Stihl Hat for the Husky video…… nice touch 🪵⛓🪚👍👏 Rick
I believe the 585 is a detuned version of the 592. I interpret it as the powerful but long lasting Husqvarna big saw and the 592 is the pure performance model. Slightly less power but same bones. Curious to try one but I doubt we ever purchase one. Our camera guy for these videos is the best! He also has a good channel, you should check him out!
@@765Guys oh trust me I know Mike ! I was pulling his “chain” he knows that, I’m sure lmao. Ask him who sent him his first 25” light bar…..I was just making fun on the side with Mike….when he reads the comments he will choke on his brew 👍😂👏🇺🇸 Rick
