This is also the first entry to the editions: UC-shipyards, and the last video to feature our 30s long intro, which will be phased out for a shorter one

The beam shield and other upgrades allowed Fed combined fleet to to take on way more modern fleet of Zanscare. Even the old Fed grunt MS with highly trained Fed pilots managed to trade blow more or less woth equal term with brand new BESPA MSs.

Nice analyse when looking at each cruisers , it must have taken along time to do this as well as the editing. I wonder how you get your sources for information. If you need any idea or suggestion, I say the development of minovsky particles (or minovsky physics in general) , how it was used and evolved throughout the UC timeline and how it changed warfare (for example Exam-System or Psycommu). I know it is used as an engine for mobile suits, but i don't understand how it disturbs radar and communication (when shown throughout the Battle of Loum in Origin).

Glad you enjoyed! I usually rely on the different MSV and official sources and sometimes on the japanese wiki. Minovsky Physiks is a difficult topic but I will try to cover it in time!

the only famous ship that didn't make the top clop-class vessel is the mother of all gundam-type mothership is the Ra Cailum, damn bright noa is the savior of the earth federation navy.

I hope we get a special episode on the Neil Argama and Dogoss Gier (General Rivel). Those are far and away my favourite ship designs in UC. whwre there any variants or extra ships of these two classes? it seems unliklly that the Neil Argama would be a Unique Design. ALSO the Spartan from MSG Thunderbolt is probably my second favourite ship after the Argama.

I don't think the Space Ark has a Minovsky Craft system, as it wouldn't need it to operate inside a colony. After all, we see a Space Boat able to do it, not to mention all the mobile suits. As long as it could provide enough upward thrust to get off the surface of the colony, it should be able to easily desync with the rotation of the colony and be able to "float". Any space ship should be able to do this. I always assumed that they just don't do this often because it's a little dangerous and would be pretty disorienting, having the colony rotating around you.

I support this but it's almost confirmed now the Space Ark has one. In Victory Gundam in the Episode "Reinforce takeoff" , there is a green Space Ark escorting the Reinforce (and get wrecked off screen alongside the Salamis Kais) which launch from sea to Space without additional boosters. Considering the Salamis Kai there were refits (so with Minovsky Craft) and the Reinforce also had one (which was inherited by the Reinforce Jr) , it's pretty much confirmed this Space Ark at least had it.

@@gundamfacts I just watched the episode to check this out, as I didn't remember ever seeing a Salamis floating, and we don't here. Like why would they be in the ocean if they can just float in the air with their craft system? And the Salamis Kai definitely have more thrusters in the back then we normally see them (it's similar to the 0083 refit config, with 4 thrusters), they're a different shade of green from the rest of the ships. It's notable, because the Salamis we I see burning up in the atmosphere a minute later does not have that thruster configuration. And they don't have those in other episodes I glanced at either And why would the Reinforce, a modified Clop-class, need a tug anyway? You'd think a significantly newer ship design would have it's own minovsky craft system. Is there another episode we clearly see Salamis Kais in atmosphere floating? The only source I see saying it has a MCS is Gundam Wiki, which I always view with a grain of salt.

@@scythedd7 okay so different things. - Japanese sources all support the new ships including Salamis Kai having MCS. In the final episodes (see 15:01), we see Salamis floating in the atmosphere alongside the Jeanne D'arc. If they didn't had a MCS they couldn't fight in such situation. - Another thing is that none of the Salamis departing Belfast is equipped with the original booster used to reach space from Earth. Yeah the thrusters are better in the Kai but Sentinel confirmed they need the same booster since they lack MCS. - Why in the water? Well most probably because they don't have landing gears. In ZZ the Salahdan and Endras (which all have MCS) pretty much always land on water so it's not a strech to say its better to have them land there than on solid Ground since it would require additional modifications to be made (plus you can't apply these modifications to the Clop and Ra Cailum so why just on the Salamis)

@@gundamfacts that's a good catch with the one by the ra-calium class. But the Salamis definitely have a different thruster package then the standard in episode 14 of V, like they doesn't match the one in that very example. They're generally have one big one and two on the side, but the ones being used as "tugboats" have four large additional ones. And I don't really like the lack of landing gear explanation. Going through the effort of adding what I imagine is a rather complex and integrated system like a mcs but then not bothering to put some hydrologic feet on so it can land seems...questionable. And we know for a fact the Space Ark also in that scene does have landing gear unless it was stripped for some reason. Probably more energy efficient, I guess. Makes me wonder what they're using for propulsion.

One of the problems that has been bugging me is how did the Zancare troops land on Earth. It took Zeon a major fleet battle to significantly damage the federation space fleet so they could invade Earth. It took a civil war to weaken the feds enough so axis could slip in and invade Earth. Char could only drop asteroids, Crossbone vanguard couldn't even get out of side 4. Even the Jupiter Empire had to con the feds or use special units to get close to Earth. How comes the yellow jackets were already on Earth before Victory even started? Also, I couldn't agree more with your comments on Gundam NT. General Revil is such an underused ship. Back in Z, Dogosgia was literally too big to sink. In NT it was like the villain snapped his finger and General Revil was gone. I was like WTF? All the cool background and for what?

From what the MSV and Crossbone explain, the reason why Zanscare was even able to land is because that far in UC, the EFSF is a slowpoke to move and the EFGF is too centralized (they have very few garrisons left, but the few left are just nighmarish to even consider assaulting, like the new California base being able to withstand direct attacks from Colony lasers and Colony drops without being damaged). Even in the early Crossbone series, there aren't regular ship patrols anymore around Earth, just few automatic armed satellites left, so it explain how Zanscare was able to land first in Europa, and later in the series in North America

Generally speaking by all known laws of physics it is pretty much impossible to radiate heat faster by any means other than more surface area. Gundam definitely doesn't work on real physics rules though,

Actually as a Phys/Chem student i witnessed cases where you can improve cooling systems by coupling newer systems with different materials for the cooling surface

@@gundamfacts In vacuum though? No matter how fast you can move heat from the gun into the radiator which the materials 100%CAN help with, getting it from the radiator out into space was I thought almost completely locked at a steady trickle.

The Reinforce Jr is a particular case for the following reason: while it reuse most of the original Reinforce, the chassis is mostly based on the captured Squid-class, and according to a Zanscare soldier the internal hangars are closer to one. Add to that that it also reuse parts from the Gaunland and you have the Reinforce Jr being more of a Squid variant than a Clopp variant

Carry base is mostly a repainted Space Ark, and it also doesn't fit in the regular UC continuity as it is exclusive to the multi universe story of G Generation.

@@gundamfacts Technically it was an UC only ship as the first games it appeared in had only UC setting. But it really is only a repainted Space Ark, even its stats are the same in most games.
