@@keithclark7266 really? Record setting 505 passing yards in a SB, no Ints, driving the team down to win and gets stripped as he steps up to throw.... Meanwhile Belicheat and Patricia benched their starting corner and the eagles who were pretty mediocre on offense with foles to that point did not punt one time that game.
Not even two minutes into this video and I've heard the sweetest sound twice......HEEEEEEEEEEEAAAAAAAAATTTTTTTTHHHHHHHHH!!!! Man, I miss him. Great videos!!!
Big Ben will always be my favorite QB & Steelers player but Damn I wish AB didn't go nuts! The man could catch anything! The #'s these men could have put up could have been untouchable!
I dont even care about off field crazy. He can comeback right now for all I care. It's about winning. We didnt win before because our defense was terrible. Slap whoever says we didnt win a superbowl with Antonio. He produced the most in the entire national football league at wide receiver. Add him back and we are going to the Superbowl. No defense wants to play us with Antonio Brown on the field. They are all millionaires. They can work out whatever differences. Football is entertainment. Bring back AB and let's beat everybody! Winning is all that matters. Superbowl wins is all that's remembered!!
@@NM-qo6cd last years defense was good enough, only needed to be paired with an average offense....i get his point and i agree with it. Last years defense was good enough....was jus on the field too long because the offense was 3 and out or turned the ball over...any defense would lose like that.
@@uninspired3681 You're absolutely right. Also, while our 2017 defense was below average, I still believe if Shazier didn't get hurt we beat the Jags (no way fournette runs up the middle with ease) but most importantly play in SB 51.
@@joem1382 most people don't know how good he actually was they just know he's a hof, if they knew that he was top 10 in almost every stat people would respect him more
@@sth02 I think as time goes by, people will be more forgiving on that. ...kobe went thru the same thing. Ben is truly a great QB and the writers know it. No reason why he's not 1st ballot.
I know he didn’t eclipse 500 yards in the game, but one of my favorite games from him was against the Panthers in 2018. He was 22/25 in passing and had more touchdown passes than incompletions. That’s insane! Let alone from the fact that the Steelers straight up dominated that night.
@@xbigxburritoxboi8643 Same here man. I remember listening to so many podcasts and reading so many articles about the MVP convo and it would get me so hype to even hear AB being tossed around in that convo. Legit we would have gone 14-2 that year and I believe we would have won too. We were neck and neck with NE. Jacksonville was just our kryptonite.
Also.the QB's that have had a 500 yard game list isn't really long, those who did it twice is Ben, Brady, and Brees. the list of 3 times is, well, just Ben.
The 6 or 7 people are ahead of him mainly because they've all played a lot more games than him. He should be able to make up ground on that if he stays healthy the next couple of years.
That last year we all saw it was time for Ben to "head for that second Star to the right and straight on till morning" .. he was a sitting duck in that pocket if you call that o-line he had a pocket. He was getting hit on every drop back. And on plays he got the ball out he was still getting hit when he released the ball. He was taking a beating
I love how everybody on the Steelers gets their fair share of credit but Ben never does. He's by far the greatest Steelers QB of all time. Terry was great but his greatest game was Super Bowl XIII. I'll take Ben's top 10 games and top 100 plays and put them against ANYBODY.
@@mangomasher7254 sorry but Peyton Manning didn't make great plays, he was a great pre-snap quarterback who was allowed to change the play to pad his stats but he couldn't handle pressure. Ben made more jaw dropping PLAYS not just throws.
@@mangomasher7254 how many superbowls does russel have? How many more playoff wins? We dam near beat russel wilson last year without ben...cmon man, dont be a hater
Un Inspired Russel Wilson time and time again puts his team on his back, Ben throughout all the years has had excellent players around him, his entire career he has had great wide receivers, offensive line, and(not including 2017 and 2018) a great defense, Russel has had a terrible offensive line, receivers, and now in post legion of boom era, a terrible defense. Now I’m not saying Ben is bad, he is one of the best to ever play the game and will be a first Ballot Hall of Farmer but he is not The best
Living in Baltimore, it took awhile to finally see a game IN Pittsburgh for me. My first game at Heinz Field? That game vs the Colts. I’ll never be able to top that.
We know Ben is great and the killer B's and all that was awesome. But can we please give our missed offensive talent HEEEEEATH!! Miller some love. I swear to go I have only seen that guy drop like 3 passes my whole life and he laid a mean block.
Ben has been to Three SuperBowls; Not Brees, Rodgers or Rivers. Current QB's: Brady 1 (9), Ben 2 (3), Eli (pre-retirement) 3 (2) Russel W 4 (2), Then Brees 5 (1) and Rodgers 5(1) all about rings deal with it!
@@BBAERSTANCE1 you lying to yourself if you think that's true. The saints will be fine if they lost brees. The steelers would be lost if they lost ben.
I still think the player Steelers miss the most is Heath Miller. Sure Bell and Brown were spectacular, but Miller was so clutch on third down and they haven't found a replacement for him.
They had a good replacement in James kid did great especially blocking downfield but they let him walk in favor of injury prone McDonald who has some great plays but dude hasn't seen a full season for the steelers and some games is just nonexistent as well most likely because hes not 100% most of the time. I was super excited when they picked up vannet last year kid was great at Ohio state but they let him walk too he was a rental I guess. The thing is pitt tight ends have never been these flashy down the field receivers you need to be able to block as a TE in pitt and play the position that's what i loved about heath and spaeth really wish they would have kept jessie and nick and let McDonald go. I guess we will see how ebron does in pitt hopefully hes a good fit.
@@whatsmyname1288 McDonald has a couple of good games, but has brick hands and is always hurt. The niners dumped him as soon as Kittle arrived to the building.
To put this into perspective no quarterback has ever had over two 500 yard passing games other than Ben. He is SUCH a beast and needs to get some recognition
You guy's are talking about all the people who touch the ball it's the people who don't touch the ball that makes it all work I'm talking about the offence and defences line
And to think, this is but one on the MANY records Ben holds. Both in the NFL, and Steelers Franchise. That list is long. Again, great vid. Loving these.
All those weapons at receiver a good Oline and a 🐐 QB. Man those were the days. Glad I got to watch all of Ben's career. Thank you, Big Ben. QB number one for life. 😤💪🏼
That was my first game I got to see at the new stadium , one that I will never forget as I watch the first half on the ramp because of downpour of rain
I was at the Home game against Green Bay for my birthday weekend and it was COLD AS HELL I’ve never been so cold in my life lmaooo but it was so cold that in the 4th quarter me and my cousin left the game cause it was a really bad snow storm on the east coast and we ended up staying in Pittsburgh another night but on the drive back home we listened to the play by play and I was PISSED we missed that Mike Wallace touchdown now just because it was an awesome moment but because the seats I got for my birthday were goal line seats lmaooo greatest birthday gift ever😂😂😂
I think history will treat Big Ben very nicely. His sort of lack of warmth, and his off field issues, has made it difficult for the Media and many NFL fans to completely warm to him. But his overall career accomplishments are going to be so overwhelmingly dominant, that it will be impossible for him not to jump off the history page. He's right there with the greatest of the great in virtually every category. Wins, SB's, Yards, Cmpl%, GWD's, 4thQComebacks, 500 Yards Games, etc.. Not to mention, all he does in his spare time is make WR's famous. Does anybody really believe we are a Wide Receiver Factory? No. Big Ben Roethlisberger is a One Man Wide Receiver Assembly Line. He builds them with his eyes closed. He's made guys like Wheaton, Coates and Bryant look like Chris frickin' Carter. What an incredible career. And it's not over yet.
Big Ben is the greatest QB of all time, no one played the position like him. He could play in any era and play hall of fame football. Tom Brady could never make plays like these. Big Ben is the greatest!!!
Great highlight video! Awesome memories! I can’t remember everything like I use to. However; if my memory serves me correctly, I do recall Big Ben having two back to back regular season games of 600 yards passing one year.....lets see that too!
Big Ben is the only QB in NFL history to win with 500 yds and zero INTs more than once and he did it 3 times. He's also the only QB to win as many as 9 career games with a passer rating of at least 150.0. He is one of only 2 T-formation QBs in pro football history to be great in his rookie season and go on to be top level for the rest of his career AND win NFL championships as the one main QB. The other one is Otto Graham who is still the GOAT. That is quite a singular tandem to be in.
i doubt we’ll ever see an offense like the 2017 offense. brown bryant and juju. connor and bell. mcdonald and james. top 3 o line and big ben. dominant
My best friend met Roethlisberger when he played for Ohio. Ben told Keith that he wanted to play for the Steelers. Keith told me, with Ben, Pittsburgh would win a Superbowl within 3 years. They did it in 2.
The game against the Packers in 2009, we won 37-36. I'll never forget that one, my all time favorite. Came down to the wire to the last minute. Ben threw it to receiver Mike Wallace and boom, we got the win. Absolute crazy.
Big Ben put them numbers up that year awesome numbers who else did that that year even if you didn’t like them Steelers they are them boys y’all know it too 500 in one game hats off to them Steelers .
Guess that means he has to do one on Monday Night Football. Those are tough matchups. But the Ravens game was Sunday Night Football, making it a primetime affair.
@Just Some Kraken With Internet Access True, He knew the rules at the time just think its silly how they can say its all good now but those who have lost their careers over it are watching from the outside.
If there is one player that maybe will come back to the Steelers is LeVeon Bell....I think his situation with the Jets is very iffy, that coach just doesn't seem to want Bell, not for that amount of money...So getting Bell back in Pittsburgh is not so far fetched....As far as AB, Steelers really got burned by him and caused so much chaos it's just not worth it..
That was great,I love all those games and the grit from the STEELERS is absolute Beauty and an athletic accomplishment.Let get 7 for DAN ROONEY and the CHEIF as well as countless others that have passed on and left us so much to enjoy for the past perspective...
We are FORTUNATE to have Ben & hopefully we’ll have a great 2020 season. Wish they could’ve reproduced the Packers win from 2009 in the Super Bowl for the 2010 season!
AB was unstoppable sheesh get ya head right big bro too much of God given talent to waste the one thing i learned in life never self destruct in the midst of chaos there is always opportunity #Blessings to the 🌎 may peace and understanding open the eyes of the universe
