another down-to-earth and very honest shoe review video, I own the same model in brown shell, been 4 year but still rocking. They are very hard to break-in though, took me 20+ wears
Thanks a lot for sharing the video. I have been mesmerized ever since you first posted the 4 year review, and made me make start spending a little extra for shell cordovan shoes. Can you post some updates on the shell Daltons and shell strands? You got the unicorns of Shell from AE and I haven’t seen them on sale since; it would be nice to see how lighter shades of shell age.
I've watched a lot of your videos now, and wonder about something. Do you have much of a daily walk between transport to and from work? Or do you otherwise walk on hard rough surfaces a lot?
Nice shoes. Excellent condition and are well taken care of. After doing some research, I purchased a pair of AE Leeds cordovan and I am pleased with my decision to purchase. I've been using Venetian balm (cordovan) to condition and shine the shoes. Product is easy to use and provides great results. I used saphir conditioner and achieved good results. Venetian provided better results without darkening the original hue of the shoes. Which product(s) are you using to maintain and shine your shoes?
Hi, I typically use only a damp rag and a horsehair brush, but 3-4 times per year I also condition them: ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-pVdUUAUIGnU.html
Thanks for all of the videos. 👊I'm learning here and I normally wear an 8D. I picked up some Alden boots and went down 1/2" in size and I'm planning on doing the same for Alden 975s. Are the Allen Edmonds cordovan true to size or should I go down a 1/2 size? Thanks!
Nice quick video, I have two questions for you, do you use a deer bone on your cordovan shoes? And would this hue be at home with a black suit? Looking at the video, they seem to be very dark, with a hint of burgundy, but it might be my screen. Cheers.
Hi, thanks for watching. No, I do not own a deer bone, but I have seen where they give good results. Also, I only wear black shoes with black suit, saving this color for charcoal, gray, blue etc.
very nice Rolex Date-Just 2 41 mm Ref# 116333! My 116333 has the Wimbeldon Romans Dial in Slate Gray, (look at Avatar) If I caught a correct glimpse, you have the Diamond Dial?
