But they come here and think it’s ok to wear all their garb, even though a lot of British people actually find it quite offensive because it embodies the subjugation of women, which really doesn’t sit well with Westerners. Obviously, there are immigrants who are perfectly decent, but so many are self-entitled, arrogant and downright disparaging of our culture and country, even though they come here to escape their own hellholes and have been allowed to settle here - then they proceed to talk about their own countries as if they’re paradises, but we don’t see them going back. Last year was a historical high and was still only around a percent of total population. That's not mass anything. A little economics. More people in a country means more people purchasing consumables and services. Thus means more jobs and more tax collected. Yes if production doesn't rise to meet demand then it causes inflation. Now as much as I dislike Blair and Brown they consistently hit 2% inflation showing immigration clearly wasn't a problem. Since we ended freedom of movement we have been short of workers.
