Learned about the mechanical properties. Another Pros for alloy wheels are when air passes through the front & rear wheels were the front disc brake unit & rear disc brake unit(if equipped) rear drum brake unit wont get over heated while braking because the air itself cools the units. That is why i had chosen Wagon-R Stingray over the regular Wagon-R.

Your videos are really nice. I have a swift dzire with company fitted 14 inch steel wheel. Planning to upsize for 15 inch alloy wheel. Can i upsize tyre size without changing the existing steel wheel. Or can i change it to 15 inch alloy wheel along with the new tyre. What will the advantages and disadvantages. As explained the major disadvantage is the durability due to heavy impact on bad roads which is common in India . Due to the impact ..alloy wheel bends which gives wobbling which gives need to change tyres by mistake instead of wheels . So it's a tricky situation only by having a car appearance. No assurance in fuel economy or suspension . It's just for cosmetic appearances . Best to go for a car with inbuilt best wheels .cosmetic changes cost later lot .
