Thanks for the comment! I no longer have the alltrack, however my biggest recommendations for mods is a United Motorsport engine tune, plus an aftermarket exhaust and intake. I also had golf R springs with Bilstein B4 shocks, and a white line rear sway bar. I loved the ride height and ride quality. The suspension and tune were the biggest things to transform the Alltrack. It felt like a Golf R wagon since it has the same suspension, and similar power. I hope this helped!
I read in the other comment you no longer have the alltrack. Can I ask why you got rid of it? I was super set of getting one and then bought a Buick Regal TourX but have some regrets since it’s an automatic. But Jesus, with a tune from Trifecta it turned the TourX into a rocket ship from 30mph - 125mph. Still wish it was a stick or at least had paddle shifters like my B6 3.6 wagon. Love wagons haha. Awesome! The tourX's are sweet! I've driven one on a few road trips and it cruises at high speeds super smooth and comfortable for long periods of time. I got rid of the Alltrack only to get my attainable dream wagon I had searched 8 months for, a Golf Sportwagen 4Motion 6Spd 1.8t, a true unicorn. I loved the alltrack!
Heyo! I know this video is from last year. I know you have the video here, but I know sometimes in person it can be a little different. Thoughts on this vs the track edition? Trying to find something that would growl, but won't get the neighbors riled up. 😅
The touring edition would be perfect for you then! No drone, and wakes up when you step on it, but civilized when driving normally. I've had both, and the track was rowdy! But it droned on the highway, and the cold starts were much louder, definitely felt bad for the neighbors.
Congrats!! Unfortunately I don't, but it did sound awesome and had great farts depending on your dsg tune. I had the track version for a while too and it sounded super rowdy but had drone.
