Healthy Almond Flour Banana Bread is a moist, melt-in-your-mouth quick bread your entire family will love! It is also paleo friendly, gluten-free and refined sugar free. ⬇️⬇️⬇️ CLICK FOR RECIPE ⬇️⬇️⬇️
►INGREDIENTS:
3 medium-large bananas (1 cup mashed), very ripe bananas with brown spots
3 eggs, large
1/4 cup any sweetener
1/4 cup any mild oil or melted butter
1 tsp pure vanilla extract
1 tsp cinnamon
1 tsp baking soda
1 tsp baking powder
1/4 tsp salt
3 cups almond flour

►DIRECTIONS:
1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees F, line metal 9 x 5 loaf pan with parchment paper or leave non-stick as is. Spray only bottom and lower 1" with cooking spray. Set aside.
2. In a large mixing bowl, add bananas and mash with a masher. Then add eggs, sweetener, oil, vanilla, cinnamon, baking soda, baking powder and salt; whisk until combined.
3. Add almond flour and stir and mix gently with spatula to combine.
4. Pour batter into previously prepared loaf pan and bake for 50 minutes or until the toothpick inserted in the middle comes out clean.
5. Remove almond flour banana bread from the oven and transfer to a cooling rack to cool off for 10 minutes. Remove bread from a loaf pan and let it cool another 10 minutes. Slice with sharp serrated knife - works best with breads to keep them from falling apart.

This banana bread tastes fabulous! Thank you! I'm allergic to gluten and used to my home-baked GF breads, muffins and cookies crumbling with every bite. You've done a great job with this recipe! I would really like to see more gluten-free recipes, maybe using oat flour made from grinding rolled oats in a high-speed blender. I also want to say that I appreciate your down-to-earth cooking style. 😁

I just recently made a banana bread but with regular flour and not almond flour. I don't know what's the difference between white flour or almond flour but for me I think both kinds give the same result, One question, why baking soda in a bread or cake? Thanks for sharing !!!

Almond flour has a different texture and absorption rate than white flour. For the baking soda, it provides the perfect leavening and texture to the recipe 🤤

I am sorry, I don't. I tried it a few times and it is a bit more dry than regular flour, so you will need a bit more liquid for any recipes of mine you use that uses whole wheat flour. Maybe it helps.:)
