Hallo Hope you doing well I have AA started lately 2013 it was up and down since i went to different dermatologist, all of them used Minixidoil and Cortizone injection with extreme pain but it does work well But it stopped working since last November nothing work for me anymore I'm 42 the first patch showed up 7 years ago so im straggling, I used antistress pills I don't if that was the cause or something else. Thanks for sharing and it's really good to find someone like you on RU-vid, you know what you say Hopefully to hear soon from you🙂
Thank you very much for your comment. You may restart the steroid injections after a break. Sometimes it starts working again (ask the doctor for some anesthesia, which could at least partly decrease the pain). We are all looking forward to the new drugs with a lot of hope. Good luck!
Hi Prof. I've been taking isotretinoin 20mg for 4 months now for FFA without any improvement and started on Finasteride 2mg. Do you think 4 months is enough time to know if isotretinoin is working or not? How long it took for Finasteride/dutasteride to work for your patients with FFA? I'm losing hope as my hair getting thinner by the day :(. Thank you!
