Finally put out the firmware update for the ilx w650 that fixed a lot of issues, only took 2 years.

1:13 why does this not work? It was a big reason for me purchasing this headunit. I tried to make sure to only look at Alpine videoes so I would get info straight from the manufacturer. So what do I do to unlock this feature?

Does the ilx-w650 support CarPlay with iPhone 13? 14? I see it’s still a current model on alpine USA website but can’t find any information on support for current iPhone models?

He just said it has. HDMI input and Output and it doesn't have it

I purchased the ILX 407 and extremely disappointed. The sold the units knowing they were having issues with sub settings. I lost 50 % of my sub output just installing this deck. And you can't ever turn the deck off unless you turn vehicle off. Extremely bad thing when having multiple amps. I do not recommend any alpine Products.

Just installed the ILX-407 and the sub settings don't save. I get decent output, but once I close the Fader/Balance/Bass/Treble/SubW Menu, all my sub level settings are lost. I agree, it's a pain not to be able to turn the head unit off as well without turning the car off.

@@azul28101 On the fence right now. I literally just wired it up 2 days ago. It's ridiculous that this problem was not caught during Quality Control. Especially since this unit wasn't released until 5 months after its originally intended release date.
