I have a friend who used to live in North Korea and I once asked him what it was like living under such an oppressive regime. He said he couldn’t complain.
@@elliottyeomans654 Do they? I guess you were asleep for the last couple of decades while we won a war in Afghanistan and Iraq and the puppet in chief built the Taliban better.
i have integrity and i practice ethics. i wouldn't do well in n. korea. in fact, these characteristics are a handicap all over the world. i wouldn't do well ANYWHERE; not on this planet anyway. this video was wonderful. people being forced to entertain the great leader is always a good target for parody. well done. where'd you get the vocals from?
its a fucked up, crazy world, ruled by fear, stupidity, and greed. governments have a monopoly on violence, and they use it however they choose to see fit. and most people are content to just bury themselves in insta and tik tok. (steps down from soapbox)
There's a couple videos that come out of North Korea from visitors and this is really shockingly accurate. People have no food and the city is an obvious farce, but they put on these big productions to show outsiders that everything is normal and happy.
you mean hungry for... food? i have integrity and i practice ethics. i wouldn't do well in n. korea. in fact, these characteristics are a handicap all over the world. i wouldn't do well ANYWHERE; not on this planet anyway. this video was wonderful. people being forced to entertain the great leader is always a good target for parody. well done. where'd you get the vocals from?
Needs mode reference. "The struggle was finished. Kim Jong Un had won the victory over himself. He loved big Gumby, even when his head was stuck in a cupboard.
Have you ever analyzed the real.nature of Britain?...do you know what are You marked by Your destiny to be as members of a looting empire?...Genocide will.always be in Your historic agenda. You can't be without stealing. And that is all for You to be and nothing else.Your escence.
@@lavalampluva55401 CNN bullshit too much? Travel world and see NK, you will see they get basic needs as many of Europe with poor countries, girls there with blue eyes and blonde hair, pretty girl has to suck on 10 customer's to go by day daily needs.
Except for that one guy, that one whistler who was out of step... Little Jong-un no like. After the miscreant was dealt with quickly, quietly, efficiently, then the great glorious tribute to death began.
@@sniceverything4944 Oh wow, Michael Palin's still alive! Good for him. And in the process of looking that up (I really thought we had exactly half of the python left) I found out he's just been to North Korea.. kinda terrifying.
Your attention to detail is simply stunning... the fact that you even tried to match the lip movement to the lyrics is just wonderful. Bravo as always (and yes, i hate it 😂)
Not to burst your bubble but I believe most editing software allows for automatic insertion or removal of individual frames to allow for that kind of timing. You can get an old, junk computer, put the free Linux OS on it, get the free Linux version of video editing software and you're all set to move to Hollywood. (Just not from North Korea.) But credit where credit is due, it was done very well.
@@terrencefoley509 I mean the editing software doesn't magically make it work. That's like saying all you need to be Rembrandt is a paintbrush and some paint, these tools allow you to move a paint around a canvas whatever way you want. You're all set to become an artist. No, lots of hours of crafting involved. No bubbles burst you patronising tw*t
You somehow really captured the “there’s a gun pointed at my head and I’m being forced to sing” vibes in this. I don’t know whether to applaud or be worried for your mental health.
A little off topic but I've met a North Korean dissident, so when someone says I'm from Korea, I always confirm that they mean South. It's hilarious how many weird looks I get, as if no one could ever be from the North
why are you afraid of some insignificant little dictatorship with like 8 nukes or something, while the US has tens of thousands of nukes and "better" ones at that? You should be more afraid of the US.
Well I will say that you know in North Korea those people unfortunately were born there they have to live they have to get along as best they can and it's not like there's some monolithic nothing or they don't have art music and what have you but would I want to live there no but you make the best of the situation and the Hand you're dealt I feel sorry for them but that war has already been fought and unfortunately all we could do is fight them to a draw because we weren't willing to Nuke the North.
@hankkingsley9300 that's because Nuclear weapons have only be ever used by cowards... Funnily enough, the only use in anger has involved an enemy that had no means to retaliate. 🤔 That's no coincidence, that's deliberate and the entire premise of M.A.D.
The work you put into matching the English words to the movements of their mouths saying Korean words is really incredible, frankly. It's clear you have not only a very keen ear, but eye as well 😉
Well, it’s funny that they are being made to sing “Always look on the bright side of life” despite living in the miserable dictatorship that is North Korea. It’s about the ironic contrast.
That was fantastic! No one puts on an entertainment extravaganza like those North Koreans! Very impressive that soldiers, children, and North Koreans from all walks of life learned to sing this song in perfect English just so they could show the west their undying love for us!
@@anthonyspanos6161 Everything I said is 100% accurate; I would never ever make a satirical comment about such a sacred event just to get a laugh, especially on such a serious and respectable channel as this. Welcome to the comments section.
@Chris F.: 😂😂😂. Funny! No one dared. They didn’t wanna be the first one placed before a live AA gun, which Fatty has known to have done in the “Paradise” that is the DPRK.
Honestly that completely emotionless clapping is equal parts "I clap because it fear for my family" and "I clap because that's what I've been taught since birth"
Indeed-if only they could give 28 standing ovations to Netanyahoo 🦨like the US Congress a few years back - 🏆 US shekelclappers.....put the N K's to shame.🥸
Her singing went viral few years ago on Facebook. My mum found it on her Facebook feed & then I told her, "Mum, she's from North Korea & this is North Korean event." Then she was like 😬.
Superb.. I love how singing soldiers were perfectly Lip synced to the over dubbed Music as did the instruments which also exactly matched, excellent editing and production
OH MY GOD THE OUTRO IS SUCH A THROWBACK People reference old stuff constantly, most of it is played out to me, but this is the first throwback to more than a decade ago I've had in ages
After watching this video, my brain has been comfortably washed and I am feeling much better. The Great Leader is a really nice guy, and his taste in musical entertainment is peccable. Many thanks for posting this. I can get back to my missile testing now.
Well I mean you say that but north Korea is more likely to sing this song than any American song, because obviously north Korea is an anti American company however they are on good terms with the UK
Oh the irony, man this is high caliber! I'd go as far as to say it's a masterpiece! Good sir, with this you have won my subscription and eternal admiration.
I’ve come back to this video again and again since you released it. All of your work is brilliant but this one is your absolute best. Trolling someone who can’t accept any criticism at all with the pinnacle of irony just makes me happy on a level I never knew was possible. Thank you once again.
I near wet while watching, the laughs stop and a total body revulsion/sick took over....don't remember WHY I found this. The absolute evil VS the virus of insanity of our now...damn.
This was so much fun and the choreography was grand! The poster with the childlike faces happily stabbing at the US... including a nurse? Creepy. I liked the juxtaposition of the guitars as big as the tots playing them, then the women playing what appear to be petite mandolins? The slide whistle had me in stitches! Didn't mind that you threw in the Gracie Films ending, either.
