Come thrifting with me at Goodwill as I look for items to resell on eBay, Amazon FBA, Mercari, Etsy, and Poshmark! Being a full-time reseller is hard work, but days like this make it seem easy! I found some great items that are easy flips. Always buy these things to sell online when you find them at thrift stores or garage sales at a good price! See How to sell on eBay quick.

//WHO AM I?
I'm Wick and I am a reseller for a living. I find things at garage sales, thrift stores, and even clearance at retail stores to sell. I do online arbitrage, retail arbitrage, and buy locally. While the majority of my business is done through Amazon FBA, I also sell on eBay or anywhere else I can flip the junk that I find.
I also trade stocks and futures, do affiliate marketing, and Merch by Amazon to make money online. My goal is to live a free life away from the typical 9-5 job.
Subscribe and join me on my adventures to see what I can find to make some dollars.

//FAQ
Q: What Apps do you use to sell online (eBay and Amazon)?
A: I search the eBay sold and completed listings to get an idea of what products are selling for. I use the Amazon Seller App to scan for FBA.
Q: Can you make a living selling online?
A: Yes, the difficulty is based on how much effort you put in and how much you need to make each month. I do this full time.
Q: Where do you find your clearance products to resell?
A: Literally everywhere. Check end caps and look for clearance aisles, but mostly it will be mixed in. Ask a manager if there's any good clearance deals and build a relationship if possible.
Q: Do you make a full-time living selling online?
A: I do. All my bills are covered, I'm able to save a good amount, and put money back into the business. I also do other things to make money, but reselling is the meat. It takes a lot of work and dedication to make a full-time living reselling.
Please like, comment, and subscribe! It keeps me motivated and happy. Thanks :D

On a positive note relating to long-term death piles, many items will actually become more valuable if you wait! I've listed items that sat for even just a year, and ended up being worth more than what it was when I originally looked them up.

One of best scores was walking into a random thrift store while my wife and daughter shopped at ulta makeup store near by. I found a large commercial epson photo printer 🖨 new in the box. Paid $40 for it and sold it for $700 on ebay with free shipping. I paid UPS about $50 to ship it. Sold it in 15 minutes after listing it on ebay. At first my wife was not happy that I suddenly had a large box loaded up in her small suv. But was thrilled when I showed her the big potential which paid off very well and fast.

Leave it to a stupid woman to bitch about the size of the box that's in the back of the car. It's not like she was going to be sitting back there. Oh but wait it's going to make money that I can spend on more overpriced makeup okay fine. But if it was something you actually wanted you'd be in trouble for putting something in her car that was bigger than what she said could fit. LOL

The YT "gurus" don't tell viewers how many unproductive trips they make, the mileage that they drive "sourcing" each year, the value of their time when the sale is complete, or how they "knew" to drive to a thrift store (or discount store) which is loaded with resellable bargains. @@randomlime3477 you do know that Goodwill has been heavily criticized for the amount they pay their employees , right? Often times less than a minimum wage (the lowest being $1.40/hour)...while the CEOs rake in millions per year. Everyone saw the name, and heard the advertising double-speak, but the fact is it's never implicitly stated that Goodwill will donate everything, excluding operating costs, to charitable organizations...it's only implied. A lot of people donate items to Goodwill not understanding that. While they do donate a lot to charity, quite a few CEOs have gotten into hot water for being paid exorbitant salaries when compared to the salaries paid to heads of similar non-profits (non-profits get to keep whatever is needed to pay employees, etc..and the top dogs pay themselves extremely well). Goodwill is not an altruistic company. It's ran by people who got rich for basically selling donated items and giving some of that revenue to charities. The Salvation Army is a much more respected option. They are an actual charity, not a non-profit.

@@randomlime3477 , you are incorrect. This is absolutely NOT true. They do not care who buys their items, they just want it sold. The point is to sell them so the “profits” go to the owner OR in some thrifts it actually goes to programs to support those people who need it, like for Veterens. Sadly, Good will was sold and is now owned by an “overlord” from what I understand. All Goodwill now does is give jobs to people who are disabled and out of prison..although that is very important. They do not care who they sell to, they just want it moved.

Drive around through the wealthier neighborhoods and look for Yard Sales, I bought a 21 cubic foot Freezer for $70 it works perfect, the people selling it were rich and just wanted to get rid of, they never used it, so it just sat in their garage. Years ago my friend bought a high end surround sound receiver and a pair of infinity powered floor speakers all for $90 from some rich guy, he said to leave before he changed his mind, so grabbed it all and left lol. A lot of times they just want to get rid of they're not looking to make a big profit. I've seen some antique furniture at Yard Sales pretty cheap, unfortunately now days there are people who literally drive all over town every day looking for antique furniture at yard sales so it's hard to beat them to it.

I think that wireless you picked up is a VHF, so it's safe, but there are quite a few UHF bandwidth wireless that are now illegal to sell or use in the US, due to new wireless laws the FCC has passed over the last several years.

Those Samsung combos more likely than not may have known defect issues reading DVDs. I always tested in reverse on them and checked DVD-ROM side first. After you buy or sell, the issue may pop up, even if it works during in store testing. But Samsungs fetch good margins!

Goodwill is greedy in California. They think they can get reseller prices so they end up junking a lot of stuff. Guess they don’t realize resellers need to spend time shopping, listing, shipping etc.

I got the same problem. Stuff just keeps accumulating. Hard to make that time to focus on listing with work and sourcing and life. Got like 80 things listed on ebay atm. Probably near 300 things unlisted. Probably should list more, just gets overwhelming sometimes doing listings and pictures and value research. My sell through rate is about 30% a month. I make very good profit on my items, almost enough I would feel comfortable quitting being "employed" by someone else. The job is just a guaranteed paycheck
