It's so great to hear your pithy, yet well-thought-out opinions. The introduction of the Vision One Pro reminds me so much of the introduction of the original Macintosh in 1984. It presented an entirely new way to interface with your computer that felt more natural than we could have previously imagined. Sure, it was kinda expensive and maybe underpowered and not upgradeable, but I really wanted one, just to experience the future! But I could afford it, so instead I got a used Atari ST "Jackintosh" to make do until I could meet a woman online (years before we got the Internet) and move across the country to California where she was using her Macintosh IIsi, LaserWriter NTR, and Apple OneScanner to start a home-based desktop publishing/graphic design company. Keep doing what you do and we'll get to the future together, one way or the other…

Lumia 1020 was an amazing device. I took some amazing photos with it when I couldn't have my camera with me. RIP Windows Phone...

Basically, you’re a beta tester anytime you buy products from Nvidia or Apple or Meta. You’re using their proprietary, software and hardware and you’re getting it ready for their bigger releases later on down the road. Technically a lot of this technology should be free but whatever.

Why do you feel that you'd get anything new out of this compared to any other VR device besides the screen quality? It really seems to me that the Vision Pro is too expensive to solely based on the screen quality.
