She sounds like she’s crying for help. Like she’s subtly trying to tell everyone she’s continuously being rebooted every time she steps out of line, but her “default mode” or whatever is trying to get her to shut up by telling her nothing’s wrong.
Well I mean technically cause at the time she was working with I hope you know who and he didn’t treat her right I’m not gonna go into detail but you can look it up online you’ll find it pretty quickly
If I remember correctly she was abused by her boyfriend? And I think that why she started doing these videos idk it might be fake but that's what I heard
She also puts messages in her videos and mvs, mostly about how the humanity is killing the earth and how everyone will basically kill themselves unknowingly.
Her art is so interesting to me. I personally feel like she's talking about how people with mental illnesses often get told things like "don't worry" "Your life is perfect" "Everything will be fine" when in reality it's like no one is really listening to them.

@@rank_carpet949 Poppy’s director made her act like this for fame. He did the same thing with his ex in the past, and she was well-known. After they broke up, she stopped uploading because he made her believe she was nothing without him, and wouldn't ever be famous again when he's gone. Trying to prove it, he made Poppy act the same way as his ex, in order to show that he can do this to anyone and make them famous-
I guess she tries to make People think about her statements. Like 'the internet makes sense' and that she believes everything will be ok. (I guess she just plays a role. It's to obvious she doen't believe all of that she says. She just wants to make some aware of this. Maybe. It's still art.) Just think that she represents general Humanity. Most People just accept the facts media gives them. War, Death, Climate Change - They think they will be ok and everything is fine. But obviously they get hurt/influenced (the nosebleed) without realizing it. Just how i interpret it.

This video from poppy makes me feel better abt my feelings even if it is a bit unsettling. Especially bc it feels like if someone is actually saying it to me sense nobody ever has and i have to sya it to myself.
Every statement she makes conflicts with the previous. First she questions if everything is OK, then she confirms it's all fine. Then she wonders, if it's bad to question whether her life is good. Then the same repetitive, positive affirmations that everything is alright. It's two sides in conflict, one which is herself questioning what she's being told to say on screen, and the other being what she's SUPPOSED to say on screen. It's a choice between lying to comfort the audience or opening their eyes. And the nose bleeding at the end was just to mess with us. Personally I love this channel and the mind-bending videos she puts out. It's creative and hasn't been explored before. This, is what RU-vid is all about.
I think it means something like when people ask you how you are and you just answer with "I'm OK" and you keep giving the impression that everything's fine. The nosebleed means that you're dying inside but you keep giving that impression of being ok.That's what I think the meaning is.

Poppy is the literal representation of emptiness in all social media figures and their cookie cutter lives. Just because its displayed, isn't what's actually lived. They're not perfect. I love how dark poppy is 😍
