For anyone wondering about how much you can get in loot using the Amalgem. With about 3minutes warp time round trip, and only one hit to fill the cargo with the exo comp(I used 2 of the exo comps for the Amalgem), I was able to accrue about 25mil in loot. Ran a warship in my target system to spawn the traders before the Amalgem hit the system.

Kinda feels like a time share pitch. In a perfect world, with perfect conditions, with no team defense, you too could get 200 billion in rss. Not a dig on DJz, just don’t see huge practical use for most in the short term. The refinery opportunity is pretty cool

The benefit of the ship is the access to the refinery. Finding a large target, without a shield, where the players that don't have notifications, that you can crack is still like chasing a unicorn with a rainbow colored horn.

Missing Critical Information. What systems have the Plundered Cargo, it isn't in the patch notes and not in your video.

I've took billions of loot from player with this ship. Those vidar and stella exos never happened, but were turned into primes.

This is cool and I'm probably still going to do it but I've had the prioritize what I do in the game. I can't do everything everyday and work and family things. Dailies and events yes. But extra stuff I usually don't have the time for

does the 9900% exocomp when used on the new ship on work with "Plundered Cargo" ships or could you use it attacking other ships etc? e.g. could you kill a hostile with 100 dil reward and it gives you 10K dil instead? ?

The Almalgam looks to like a ship of multiple parts. I.e a bit from the BB, bit from horizon etc

Amalgam Parts > Cockpit part = unknown > lower front part = B'rel Wing with Cannon > middle part = a Paklet Armada (Territory Systems) with Cargo Crates > left red warp nacelle = from a Ouv'Sompek Explorer (Klingon G5 ship) > right green warp nacelle = Valdore Wing > red impulse engine top part = slightly modified TOS D7 skin > multible engine bottles design look like the *CR90 Corvette* from Star Wars, slightly dis-organized

Found an error. You say it takes 12 days to get the parts for tier 1 to 2 upgrade. It's actually 9 days. When you pull it the 4th time you do have a 3 day cool down, however you can use the parts right then, and I'm pretty sure when you tier it up it resets. Not much of an error, but I'm a technical sob

So basically Scopley has once again given the whales yet another means to pick on the smaller players. The larger alliances that pay to play will pick on the smaller bases that have around 4-5 billion in par.

I’m level 41. I can’t recall the last time I came across a base with more than 20 billion in resources that I thought I could crack. I don’t see myself being in a rush to get this ship. I’m also not very interested in a new mechanic that requires so much grinding. I used to be an avid raider and I was really looking forward to Scopely hinting at improving raiding. Sorely disappointed.

Vi'dar with 2/11, Stonn, and 5/11 should give a good start without the Amalgam

Ship is a waste on my server for raiding. No one has enough RSS to make it useful. Would still pick it up just for the refinery that comes with it.

Grade 4 amalgam exocomp =99x the ability of amalgam. So at lvl 1 with exo will be just shy max lvl ship? And with ship maxed 9.9%. Think definitely gonna use the exo when raiding.

Cool it does other cool stuff that will be beneficial to the game. The fact remains you told us this ship would be a game changing raider, it's just simple not. It won't chnage the game hardly any when it comes to raiding. That's what most people wanted, not all this other stuff. DJ you make great content and videos, I wish you had never aold the ship so hard as game changing. It's not.

However do you get the ship? Pretty sure its whale only and I'm not paying for this car crash of a game lol

So the new ship is more like a second Stella. Can’t say I’m looking forward to yet another special ship that requires a lot of time. And the raiding aspect isn’t really a factor except for lvl50+ players if I do the math correctly. We will see but as for now it looks disappointing to me.

I know you content creators seem to like it but it seems pretty crappy to me. Even the refinery for ship shard trackers looks like it will take forever with the usual scopley rng. Other than the increased resources from this arc its been pretty crappy. At least the whales have more to spend cash on. It's a massive miss for me.
