That's an extra 3 fight camps + 1 camp she had the month before the fight was suppose to take place ( August ) They instead fought at the end of December and Peña submitted her after only 8 minutes. Peña gets a rib injury and Amanda doesn't want to wait for her for a trilogy? Only casuals don't bring up Amanda pulling out for the first fight and think interest in a trilogy was removed in that rematch.

Amanda did say that she has extensive nerve damage in her right leg. Her doctor advised her to not kick at all, but she couldn’t NOT kick as she thought it was one of her best offensive tools. After every fight she’d leave limping with her legs iced or in a wheelchair and recovering from that damage was what kept her from being more active as a champion.
