I was there and saw her fly sounded awesome. Everyone done a fantastic job over the weekend and some even flew in the rain!!! Well done Pete and everyone who makes the show go on..

Not every large scale looks exactly the part in the air. What makes the difference? The pilot! Beautifully flown in scale style! Thanks Pete for that awesome footage and detailed stills! Awesome as usual! And that is serious landing gear hardware!

@@tbobborap1 Excellent model and excellent flying, but I feel a need to make the observation that, to me, the four point roll @3:03 looks not "to scale". The real thing would drop it's nose and loose a lot of height in that manouver. To perform it, the nose would have to be pointed, at least, 30 degrees up before rolling. I admitt that I'm not a pilot, and I have, sadly, not flown in SE-FUZ, but my father was one of the pilots flying this aircraft in the 1980-1990:s, though not as a display pilot. So perhaps I can claim to have some knowledge on the topic :-) I will surely show him this clip. Thanks for the upload.

thanks angel, yes the wthr deffo shaped this years show, on sun the big boys with expensive toys packed up and left (didnt want to risk them) so that left lots of 3d pilots who dont care about the wthr, but this is not to the palate of the paying public unfortunately

Lovely aircraft, beautiful scale model and wonderful sound. I agree about the non-scale speed, but didn’t detract. As an aside, am I mistaken or was that the dulcet tones of on Dave Bishop I could hear on the commentary? Great to hear him again, so much better than recent commentators backed by excruciating music tracks!

When I was a Kid back in 1967 Cox made a Control Line version of this Plane with their 049 engine . It Never flew. Does anyone even Have those anymore .

Curtis Mavis Huff: OMG...I forgot I had the Cox control line version of this plane too, until I read your post. Never flew it, but started it and let the engine run. Got mine free with "TV Stamps" that my parents let me have. Hours of pasting them in their books. Thanks for the trip down memory lane.

@@allanwilkerson6426 Oh yeah, I remember those . There was another one called S& H Greenstamps too. I Ran the Engine on my old Cox plane too. My Mom said to fly it would be Dangerous because of the trees in our yard , and i would have to take it too a field to fly it and I just never did . Dont even know what happened to it . but those were the Days .

I always fly my scale models both ways. I’ll start off as slow and scale as possible then open it up and wear it out. But I’ve never had scale models very large.

A very impressive display with a nice scale like take off, then it all went into much too fast mode, not sure why people do that, perhaps he got carried away by the fun factor.
