Amazing Chocolate Spider Web Halloween Cake

My Spider web cake is the richest chocolate cake ever topped with a fudge buttercream and of course there's a chocolate spider sitting on a white chocolate web! This spooky cake is always really fun to make and so easy to decorate too!
This should be called my billion dollar sheet cake because it’s SO RICH! Chocolate fudge buttercream tops a moist chocolate cake.

I tried this recipe for my son's birthday party at school today. It was my first time to make a 9x13 sheet cake. It was really moist and fluffy. I changed the design to match the theme of his party though. This will be my go to sheet cake recipe. Thank you for the recipe!

Oh my gosh the SHADE at your husband! 😂 But hey, if you could both cook you’d just be competing all the time, yeah? I’ll have to try out one of your chocolate cake recipes soon. They always look so delicious and they’re my favorite videos of yours to watch. I’d be curious to see you try something with black cocoa powder if you haven’t already. The look it produces is a lot more dramatic instead of preppy, but it might make an interesting component in a Halloween recipe or something for next year!
