Amazing Container Home Transformation! 

I love every single episode. We live in crazy times and you two young people give me hope. You've got really good values. That is so encouraging.

I love the stain on the skirting. It compliments the grey of the shipping containers and especially the wood used on the porches. Spencer is turning out to be a real craftsman, the design of the skirting is first rate!

When the world is getting me down, I watch your little family and my hope in humanity is restored. Thank you for sharing your lives with us and putting good out into the world.

I remember being like 13 or 14 suicidal to the max and at the time I decide to try to steer clear of all negative thoughts for a minute and think.. I remember seeing how happy and positive you guys were even in the worst of times. I envied that. wanted to be happy like you guys. so I started watching around the third or fourth video. you guys made me laugh and smile constantly while at the same time I slowly watched the house come together from then until now. i lost you guys for abit and found you guys again last month to see what all the years have led up too. I remember seeing the first born be born back then and now y'all have two!!? I so proud of you two and your lil family. I've seen all the progress you guys have made throughout the years and I just wanted to thank you guys and let y'all know that if it wasn't for you guys opening my eyes when you did.. Spencer, you are an artist with the skirting. It makes the rest of your house pop when you look at it. You're going to love the Starlink internet, just like those who previously struggled with internet living off-grid, it's a Godsend!

The wood underneath makes such a difference in the appearance of the containers. There is a lot of container builds out there on RU-vid, but yours is now one of the best as you address all the final little details. Only a few more little projects and your dream home will be complete and you can finally relax and take a break. Looking forward to the next project you take on, hoping it's a remodel of the barn :)

Yay for faster Internet! But you really should place the dish at the highest point of the house so you don't block it's view of the entire sky. This allows the dish to train to the best sat, and not just one that's not blocked.

I love that they are taking a long time to put out their next video. In general, youtube viewers claim an unearned ownership and authority over the proprietors of the channels they watch, with no vacation allowed without the subscribers' permission first. I say they should take a good long break after completing their home if they like. I'll be here for the next release without hostility and threats of unsubscribing. And if they never put out another video again (not likely), they will leave not owing anyone anything.

You guys should consider a white gravel buffer around the house to improve draining and deter animals (snakes) from trying to get under the house, as well for “curb appeal” LOL

Kenzie please be careful out in the heat, heat stroke sneaks up on you before you know it. The skirting really finishes the house and the color choice is beautiful and consistent with the porches. You guys have come so far! I am so glad you & Spencer share your lives with us. I can't believe how fast the kids are growing. At some point a swingset will be needed, Beau is ready and Cam will be right behind her. I'm in awe of all you both have accomplished while having babies and building a house and making a home. You should put your starlink dish right up on the top roof. The roof beside it will occlude a significant portion of the sky and you will need as much sky as possible to get decent reliability with all those big trees you already have taking so much of the horizon away from you. Use the visibility tool in your starlink app to visualise how much of the sky is unavailable to you with your current mounting position. I'm sure you have already noticed the disconnected periods are frequent and long and likely have already worked out your position needs to change. ;)

I love watching your channel, how the house progression and other projects go, the way your kids are growing so fast. But do be mindful of the heat. So happy for you guys on the starlink! I was in a similar position, living on the outskirts of town and very limited on internet. Fortunately we have a local ISP that eventually gave us a much better broadband and then eventually gave us the option for fiber optic! What a game changer! The skirting and the stain does make the house look much better. Spencer, please build a smoker so that y'all can live more off the land? You also need a jungle gym with a slide and a couple of swings for the kids. Also, build or purchase a firepit and place some chairs around it. You also need a grill. A grill will save some electricity use by cooking outside and so will the smoker. You have all the wood you need for a smoker and all the game in the world out there to catch, kill and eat. Oh make a seesaw as well for your wife and children. Everyone loves a good seesaw.

Spencer and Kenzi, you two are amazing. Spencer's construction skills and Kenzi's videography skills prove you can accomplish any major task with a little research and perseverance. One suggestion, I have mini splits in my house as well. I covered the outlet end of the condensate line with a screen to keep bugs out of the line and out of the house but still let the water out.

As I'm watching, I'm picturing all the outdoor projects you can do later. A playground for the kids, perhaps a swimming pool too which can be made from an open-top shipping container, & of course the outdoor shower project that you've already mentioned.

Awesome skirting idea. With the screen incorporated too. It breathes instead of closing off the the crawl space with a few tiny vents. Plant castor bean plants and wild garlic around the house to detour moles and gofers(castor beans) and garlic for snakes. Also Toss OLD FASHION moth balls under the house to keep critters out but don’t let the dogs or kids eat them.

Being able to watch your videos and build your lives and lifestyle is such a joy. I feel like I'm there with you and I am in spirit. But your expression of appreciation brought tears to my eyes. I have been following your progress for a long time. I have been a fan of shipping container homes, solar, self-contained, off grid, and architecture for as long as memory serves. Frank Lloyd Wright designs seem to have been incorporated in your design; clerestory inclusion is obvious in your center addition. My workplace is essentially a warehouse, including clerestories enabling natural light to illuminate the large expanse. If you are not familiar with Wright’s innovations, I would encourage investigation. You will discover your journey closely mirror his philosophy and ideals. Arriving at the end of construction, it will be interesting where your channel goes once it is complete. It is imagined your success and popularity will continue. Continued blessings to you. The theme music closing each episode is often my saddest experience, not wanting the episode to end. Such connection between creator and audience is testament to the skill, presentation, and content.
