I am an Egyptian but trust me, Ghana is the best place to be on Earth. The people are too friendly and just amazing to be around with and the food is just heavenly.
Not God blessed our home land Ghana, this is wrong and this is why we are to were we are. Because of self hated. God blessed Ghana and God blessed all of mother Africa 🌍 the promises land of humanity . Peace ✌am black and white one loved 😍❤♥✨💕
I love this my husband's father was from Ghana Africa. He was a medical doctor very educated very smart and intelligent and his brother was professor at the University.
Just that most people living in Accra don't see it that way and they trash the place so much. Hopefully it gets better soon. Overall, the city is becoming more beautiful and lot of locals especially the youth are waking up.
True. The advent of social media giving us the ability to compare and contrast, to see what others are doing, to receive feedback on stuff etc is making everybody smarter. God bless the people behind the youtubes, tiktoks and co
I've basically traveled the world. For me, the only times I've ever felt totally free and at home was in Africa. It is difficult to put in words. But, there is a spiritual connection.
The future of what?? Apuuuu! You guys go there and see a couple of buildings and you talking junk. Do you really know the suffering going on there? Really? The hardship?? Really?? The roads?? Please!!
@@kingsleyanyang-kusi5024 the moment I saw your name I knew you are a Ghanaian probably an Ashanti right? my dear its most unfortunate you think that way! I got news for you brother you better wake up because by the time you go back to Ghana, unless of course you live in GH then perhaps i can arrest my case otherwise you won't have a place to stay when go home -- there is an Exodus movement nothing you can do or say can change that -- you either find out what's going on, get in the boat or fall out -- your choice bro -- my name is Nana Ekua Turkson I am a Ghanaian and I am proud of it stay blessed
@@jenniferturkson278 I don't think that way, that's the facts! Go to the hospitals, check the conditions, drive across the country, check the roads, go across the country, speak to people, look at the living conditions, then come back and enlighten me! You think Ghana is all about Accra? Really? Even so, look at Accra, take a really good look, then come back and enlighten me! Facts speaks volume! Let me share this with you dear, the "African American's perspective of Ghana, is different than that of a Ghanaian"! I live in the United States, but I'm a Ghanaian, I know Ghana!!!!!
Ghana is the best place to explore the richness of Africa. Am a proud Ghanaian and we have so many rich cultures and am glad they talked about the food.
Thank you for promoting Ghana and African continent. God bless, all the negativity about our dear continent will be a thing of the past. The whole world have a story to tell about their countries before their developments. The goal for Ghana and Africa is education. Thanks so much.
African Americans have been through a lot over the years and Ghana or black African countries has offered them a pathway to come out and heal themselves and go back if they wish. I think they should grab this opportunity with both hands. There's something about going to where you inherited from.
This is so awesome and I think it's amazing This information is coming out now about Africa that it's actually being televised As a beautiful place to be . Thank you Jay For continuing to share Your experiences in Africa ❤️💯
As a fellow African sister, from the carved out land known as “Nigeria “🇳🇬🙏🏾I am so proud of our beloved continent.my great Aunt lived in Accra in the 40’s right up to the 80’s😍🙏🏾.
As a Cameroonian living in the USA I am loving this show case of Ghana and yes we must change the narrative of the Continent of Africa. We are tired of the Old lies of Africa being portray as a needy continent, Bro; we are so much more that that . This video is just a tip of an iceberg.
So true! Scrap dealers i.e. have the past stolen both plastic and metallic bins.We We need more monitoring cams to ward of these dealers. There are byelaws against littering. What is needed is enforcement to the letter.
Wow! Ghana is really beautiful. I wish we can see more videos like this about Africa here in the United States. I think Africa is the best place to enjoy retirement right now. Ghana is definitely going to be on my list.
@@abimaellopezmaylord27lopez7 You need to really think about where your parents come from! Philippines? This is the place where parents sell their daughters to pervert white men. Of course you have to be docile to make yourself liked by the white man. The African Americans you talk about paved the way for you to be respected in the US! Please watch videos about Philippines and you will be more humble!
Ooh my big Brother,,God richly Bless your good heart,,your beautiful soul,,your positive energy ,your unconditional love for your Great motherland,,and your highly fame,to promote our country..We are so proud of you my handsome brother,,,keep it up and stay healthy and Blessed.
this is one of most best tourist attractions I have seen in Africa Ghana, love you guys for showings us this wonderful places in Ghana, keep showing this to our beloved American Brothers and Sisters in Diaspora.
Thank you for sharing this clip, Jay. Shout out to the dynamic actress and playwright, Ms. Danai Gurira. She is another precious jewel from Africa. Glad we’ve been graced by her life in America.
Jay I really appreciate your help and support to the world but to African American to enjoy to truthfully life of how much people have come from Africa. You have put so many people in contact with Africa.
Are u back in the motherland? You are very good I will always praise u because Ghana is slowly being built by some of you . People living there don’t realized until the good part are snatched by foreign agencies. Good job Jay continue to tell your truth. Love your work
Great to hear this but I think this is more of sign that increasingly, Africans and the black diaspora have started to value their continent. They have no choice but to take notice! We are on the move.. Kudos to everyone in the community showcasing the continent in good light, we started a movement. Yes, kudos all of us for standing up for Africa. Let's keep doing what we do. If we value ourselves and our continent, the narratives will have to align in the end!
Great! I totally agree: This is so significant! Thank you Jay Cameron! I live in France and I can tell you: you'll never see that on any of the main French TV channels!
@@ackahkofiefrancis4289 A destitute place with people living with wild beasts and naked kids starved with flies all over them trying to feed on them alive. The usual nonsensical defamatory negation of Africa.
The "Black Panther effect" is a troubling characterization to me. Africa in general and Ghana specifically was already moving in this direction. The movie did have a big impact, but as Danai highlighted the movie was influenced by the real world also.
Jay, one thing I really love about you is that one can see that you've taken responsibility to change the narrative. I can see you're not doing it because of money, but love. Bro, keep it up.
Hey Jay, great video 👍🏾👍🏾💯. when I saw the ladies on the balcony at Sad box beach…I thought of your beach front land…Brilliant purchase brother. You’re in it to win it. Inspired 👏🏾👏🏾👍🏾👍🏾💯
I am happy black Americans are seeing the real deal of Africa and it's home time to go home! It's no killing of our people because we look like one! The false Africa that they told you about it's now plain to see how our ancestors live and where we come from! Love that robin has come see and now can tell the world ghana 🇬🇭 us great and it's home! Welcome home 🏡 thanks for sharing! Shalom
How do get you rid of the people who give your country an identity around the world? I understand Latinos are taking over with how crazy fast they are having them babies but you just can't get rid of AA's. Never!! 400years of slavery couldn't do it.
God bless our home land Ghana and make our Nation great and strong bold to defend forever the cause of freedom and of rights…….you all continue with the anthem 😊😊😊
@@luckyawadzi3337 ghana with a smaller land size nd smaller population number can't be compared to America economic wise.d but if let's say west africa unite then we definitely can nd can reach that level. If whole of africa unite, we will surpass everyone by far.
Times have changed and in many ways for the better. During the 1980's and 1990's there was not a single positive story about Africa in the mainstream media.
