Amazing Grace Piano Tutorial - with a touch of blues 

Amazing! This is the most beatiful version of that tune I have ever heard. Thanks to The New Corona Virus I am isolated at home and have time to dig this huge goldmine of tutorials presenterd by prof Fuchs . It is for free, but I bought the music sheet. Only 5 dollar! Now I can practice with both the video and the written notes in front of me. My hope is to be able to play this beatiful version on my own funeral.

It's now June, 2020. I've been on the brink of a meltdown over the insanity in the United States of America right now. Will "United" be a part of our land ever again? I spotted this post in my suggested videos (because I'm a super grateful subscriber!) and listened immediately. Amazing Grace never fails to move me - I play it all the time just for my own enjoyment - and this rendition is gorgeous and inspiring. I needed this reminder tonight of what is real in this crazy world : love, and amazing grace. God bless all who hear this, and thanks once again, Christian from Berlin.

Christian my teacher, this is or has become not only my single favorite version of this epic time but it’s quelled my parrots 🦜 and I and my wife can feel your emotion to the point of my face streaming with tears of being moved. Very few have done this to myself and It’s pleasing every night whence I tuck my babies in🦜🦜🦜💤💤🙏💘🎹🦅I don’t know what January 1st meant to you but I certainly feel it🙏lost my dad December 5th mom December 7th 5 plus 7 is 12. Twelfth month 36 is 9 I’m a numerous as well as a drum 🥁 instructor ❤️☮️🙏

Christian, you have changed my life. I've been playing the piano for over 60 years (trained only in classical music) but have been frustrated that I can't play as well as I did when I was 12. I have ordered at least 6 of your sheet music pieces (as well as your "Left Hands for Beginners" book, currently working on this beautiful version of "Amazing Grace." I'm in a piano club (now on Zoom) and last month played your "Summertime" and "Autumn Leaves" and people were amazed! Now they all have your website and my strong recommendation. Your tutorials on hands separate and other exercises are particularly helpful. The pandemic has been so difficult, but your videos and sheet music have brightened things more than anything else (maybe even more than playing golf, but the season here is over, anyway). Vielen, vielen dank! I never thought I would be able to play the blues!

So it's early morning here on the south coast of England and it's dark, everybody is sleeping, and I have my headphones on using the peace to study piano before my daughter and her teenage friends wake up with a hangover. And amazing grace has become the calm before the storm! Beautiful. Happy New Year Christian!

Well done my friend. Long ago I found a version of Fur Elise with a bluesy color. It was so good, I think Ludwig himself would have thought it was cool, and realized that the blues is where it's at. I may only play through the 2nd page-ish and found a couple places I can end it, but not sure if these correspond with the lyrics exactly ( if folks are humming or even singing along)....vielen Dank!!
