You won’t believe how easy it is to make an Ice Cream Cake at home! Filled with hot fudge and crumbled Oreos, this homemade version is a show-stopper. Mix and match flavors and make this sweet treat all summer long! I'm making a layer of my favorite chocolate cake recipe for the bottom but you can use any cake you'd like!

Ingredients: 2 1/2 cups APF (all-purpose flour) 3/4 tsp kosher salt 2 1/4 tsp baking powder 3/4 cup unsalted butter 3 eggs 1 2/3 cups granulated sugar 1 tbsp vanilla extract 1 cup buttermilk Ice cream (any flavor) Melted chocolate Oreo crumbs Hope this helps! :D (Edit: sorry i forgot the whip cream 1 pint heavy whipping cream 3 tbsp powdered sugar 2 tsp vanilla)

I made this receipe for my daughters birthday. I was time poor so I bought a store mud cake but made the fudge. She loved it. It was her favourite cake! Thanks John for sharing your awesome recipes. It didn't look as good as yours but I will try it again and keep improving 🙂

Great video but I'm lazy. I'll get a box of chocolate cake mix, bake, and slather a gallon of ice cream on top, finish it off with store bought icing. Works for me. Lol.
