@@jeffclark5024 Here in developing countries... people drive on perfectly repaired tryes for thousands of miles.... thy insert tube in tubeless tyres without any issues. Its basically fear inserted inside which is of ofcourse difficult to repair.
I drove with inner tubes inserted where my puncture was caused a little bit of an issue. But then they banned tubes tyres, all in the way of claiming they explode, but so can a Tyre. One day, they may even ban puncture repairs despite widely selling Home puncture repair kits.
I want to live in India where people want to do a honest living. 2 day ago found 2 screws in my tyre.l'm certain someone did this deliberately. 1 screw was between the thread and one on the inside wall.The experts in my area on tyre repairs claimed sidewall puncture couldn't be repaired?It's anew tyre! They say I have to buy a new tyre.?Rogues.
How dangerous is that, all the strength in that tyre has been compromised, a few stands of cotton threads is laughable and a bandage is jus dangerous. Lol.
If this represents the "amazing techniques" of a developing country, I would hate to know what the least talented workers. These men are cheap, irresponsible, and amateurish. A tire with that type of damage cannot be repaired. It is time to throw the tire way and buy a new one.
A repair like this is about 30 rupees in India or up to a maximum of 50. That in the UK is about 70 pence. Everything is crazy prices compared to the Western Worlds.
