I didn't know grunting wasn't allowed in tennis. That takes out 75% of the players. People who complain about grunting in tennis should really just watch another sport like golf, basketball, etc...

And that it's not all just about power. Imagine having a drop shot as good as Su Wei Hsieh. Or a lob. Or a volley. Or to be able to move and cover the court that well. Imaginative, creative tennis.
Shinobu Tsurubushi Radwasnka was pretty frail and skinny herself. Especially towards the end of her career. Hsieh has been around for a while and done pretty well in doubles at least. Radwanska’s game was beautiful but she didn’t achieve a ton in her career. Don’t try to take shine from Hsieh :)
Hsieh must have the best hands and ball control in all of professional tennis. Droppers, lobs, corner-to-corner groundies, well-placed serves, incredible defense, sliced approaches, and masterful volleys. The only way to beat her is to blow her right off the court (like Muchova did at the 2019 U.S. Open). If you can't do that, she will run you all over and will drive you insane. Simply awesome! One of my fav players to watch. And Giorgi, or course :-)
@@hemantunde132 True, it did go to a 3rd set tiebreaker, but I was there in person, 10 ft away from the players, for the entire match. Although Hsieh's touch and control are incredible, Muchova often overpowered Hsieh, esp in the first set. She used her power to win.
Exactly - you have to keep the ball away from her entirely, and put her away with power like Serena did in 2016 AO 2R. If not, it's going to be a long match.
Man, I love this girl! She toys with her opponents and it's simply brilliant! I love that she's this petite girl with not much power but boundless amounts of finesse and feel. She picks apart the power players with her incredible artistry. Her game is so entertaining to watch.

"perfect body shape" you mean like Hsieh, slim and elegant. She could put the tennis racket to the side, put on some nice stiletto heels - and confuse us all on the runway. She is gorgeous!
Is there any other players like her ? I'm new to tennis and she's so fresh n entertaining to watch. I like the way she controls the ball. She completely changed my mind that tennis is all with power n stamina.
Like a breathe of fresh air after watching the baseline bashers for the past 2 decades. I love how she forces them to come forward where they are least comfortable.
I've been following her career since the Juniors. I am glad she is finally getting noticed by an wider audience. Her game is elegant but super high risk. She hits lots of winners but also more errors, sort of like a power player but carving out winners in a very different approach.
The overwhelming impression of this compilation is of opponents manically running about the court while Hsieh strolls to where the ball is going to be, waits for it to get there and then plays a winner! Great stuff.
To me she symbolizes what tennis is all about. What a pleasure not to have to watch woman after woman use just one weapon (brute strength) She uses so many techniques I love watching her play. The best.
I love how at 1:02, she hits the ball while it is still on the rise. She doesn't wait for it to reach the peak of its bounce. And at 34, she is still moving incredibly well. Her playing style has preserved her body, perhaps.
A total delight to watch on the court. Plays tennis like chess as if she is anticipating the next four or five shots and has a strategy already mapped out in her mind. And the drop shots OMG!!
Fabrics Santoro of Women’s tennis. So nice to watch her and I rarely watch women’s tennis (the day’s of Novotna, Graf, Sabatini) are no more. Zero creativity in the women’s game. But she adds an awesome dimension to the stereotypical of 99.5% of today’s women. Great. She and Radwanska (retired) are awesome
Hseih and Federer have the same 'calm and deadly' aura. I would be so scared to play against her. She is extraordinary! I want to learn how to play her kind of tennis.
Hsieh getting the recognition she deserves. Kind of took Aga's place as a fan favourite. Just wondering how cool can be watching those 2playing each other. I want more 6 minutes are not enough
Hsieh dictates. Other players react. ( Hsieh reminds me of Martina Hingis....drop shots, lobs, crafty skills....) great to watch. I love the way she thinks outside the box. I hate the power hitters who only knows to hit it hard or hit it harder. You can actually see Hsieh thinks each point!
