I don't have to accept anything.The athlete we speak about, will automatically accept that he has lost, namely at the moment when the referee blows the whistle. He needs neither your loud shouting nor my acceptance. 3. The athlete wasn't ruined. He lost a fight. That's typical of fights: one wins, one loses. These are tough guys who know how to deal with losing. The next fight he can win again.
