It's interesting to hear a person's thoughts when financially free to think of 10 20 100 years down the line compared to my paycheck to paycheck thinking 😅. So now we know what them pharaohs where thinking 🤔
I'm with the majority of the comments what a self-centered evil post could been feeding cleaning nurturing our existing Homeland but no he wants to play Tik Tok down-the-rabbit-hole
Great job. I also wish he would build a wall with what we all see today. Cars phone, style in of clothes, boats and so on so future humans can see how we lived. Sort of like the cave paintings.
Ive always thought about that too, Like how come we don't have underground pictures/sculptures/modern things that people can dig up thousands of years from now to see what we had an how we were living🤷🏾♂
Built for long-term thinking.... hmm 🤔 how about just not wasting resources as a thought. Stretching the time frame is also not the option Jeff. We don’t NEED to become more advanced to become efficient. It’s the other way around.
Maybe if he wasnt a sociopath hed solve world hunger, which would take 5-10 years according to recent calculations and cost a fraction of his symbolic clock. Malevolently symbolic no doubt. This guy lies through his teeth to an audience and gets applause. Wtf planet am I living on?
My community has given me plans to be sustainable with a 5 piece cabin to start branching out to accommodate people of all abilities and needs. I hope he reacts this...I'm going to share this for free. Exponential growth. Done.
People severely underestimate the amount of money it would take to solve world hunger. 42 million wouldn't even feed every starving person in the world for a day. There are approximately 780 million starving humans today. At $1 per person the math is pretty simple. Lets stretch it and say $0.50 a person, there's still 696 million starving people waiting to be fed. Again that's only just for 1 day. solving world hunger is a "long-term" task as he's trying to say. Now do I think he could be doing more to help with farming solutions in foreign countries or donating money to hunger organizations, sure of course! But let's not pretend that he has enough capital by himself to end world hunger today, right this minute, because he doesn't. No single person has that power, at least not yet. P.S. Every single person here is a hypocrite because you all order from Amazon. Cope around that.
Yeah yeah what ever if you want to end world hunger go work hard and be a billionaire and give your money for that cause don't try to act morally superior you being broke.
Many references, all over the web. I heard about it just now, on Australia's "Radio National" podcast, here in Australia. Wondering if my China-based ancestors, in China, could ever imagine such a time period, when "homo sapiens" no longer exist. My "Made_In_China" wife (married 20+ years ago, no kids) could not understand this "clock", when I tried to explain it.
