I recall this video saying the backrest was 9" wide. The one I received is 10" wide. The back rest edge is also at least 1.5 inches from the support bars vs the 1" measured in the video. So I guess they listened!
Thank you Jessica! I appreciate you checking some of em out and I'm glad you found them helpful. I hope you subscribed because I try to do at least 4 a month. Thanks again for watching!
At 5'8" you're tall enough for either of these benches and the Flybird that I reviewed in my other bench comparison video to. It's basically comes down to gym space and how you're going to use it. The Fitness Reality bench is a work horse and you can do anything with it but it's heavy. The Flybird bench is a taller bench that people under 5'4" might find a bit uncomfortable because it might be hard to ground the feet during supine push exercises but it's light and folds up small. Now that SpoxFit bench is a little guy that is good if your gym space is small, you're not real tall and you're not going to be hard on the bench by doing box jumps and things like that.
@@UsawaFitness thanks for the quick and thoughtful reply! All I think I’ll be doing for now are dumbbell exercises and bench presses once I get a barbell setup, and maybe some core work too with that leg rest feature. I got the space and I don’t think I’ll mind the weight of the bench; might as well made that part of the workout! I’ll check out some of your other recommendations but sounds like the Reality Fitness bench checks all my boxes.
Man my bench is built way better than I am. And it's definitely gonna outlive my old ass. I'm not in the market for a new one. But for some reason I always enjoy Vern's equipment comparison breakdown videos !
Man you're funny Joe 😂 but I know exactly what you mean about a well built bench! Happy New Year man. And thank you for all the support you've shown me and my channel.
