A couple days ago someone in a lawyer's YT channel's live chat said that for DV and AV cases prosecutors should not be allowed to decide on whether or not cameras are used. They were trying to look like they were being fair to Depp while actually trying to continue to be against the falsely accused with that stance. I told them that this approach was why Depp lost his first case, so that he was still falsely considered the abuser and Amber the victim. I then asked "aren't the accused innocent until proven guilty?" She didn't want to respond to that.
In this kind of civil lawsuit, the jury CAN take refusal to testify as meaningful, as in they can assume that means you won't testify because you're at fault, if they want. So she kinda had to, to have any chance at all. @@independentaquaman7424 there were two sets of attorneys but no prosecutor. Her recording from the honeymoon on with all the staging and fake crying led to her verdict. I didn't know who was at fault until I watched and listened to her plus her blackmail tapes.

Exactly! Feminism is not just for women's right but also men's rights. I'm a hardcore feminist and I know how to spot an abuser. Just because she is a woman I will not believe her. We have seen both of their sides and it's evident at this point that it's Amber who is an abuser here. Feminism has nothing to do with this.
Yeah, I'm a feminist and Amber Heard is full of shit. The whole "believe women" thing was a misguided oversimplification. What it should have been was "don't automatically dismiss women offhand" and "when someone, regardless of gender, claims to be the victim of abuse, be prepared to listen and acknowledge the possibility that they may likely be telling the truth, and treat them with empathy as if what they're saying is true", not "women can't lie, every man accused of abuse is an abuser, no woman would ever play the victim to cover for her own abusive behavior". By reducing it to "believe women", the message got lost and it contributed to enabling abusive women to appropriate victim narratives in order to protect their own reputations and further abuse their victims by ruining theirs. I don't know how common it is, but any reasonable feminist following this case closely enough can see that that's what happened here, and wants to see Amber Heard held accountable.
