Amberley Museum in Sussex 2023 Miniature Steam Weekend bigger and better than the previous years. There was 58 miniature steam Traction Engines, Steam Rollers and Steam Wagons driving around the site of the museum. These ranged from 2" up to 6" scale there was mostly 3" and 4" all with their own unique charm and loads they were pulling. This video covers the these miniatures driving around the museum, the big whistle up and hill climbing up the hill where you can really appreciate how hard these engines work and sound amazing under load. In my opinion this is the Dorset Steam Fair for Miniature Traction Engines and vehicles alike, well worth a visit if you are into the miniatures and want a great day out or your looking to take your model steam engine here as a exhibitor then this is the best show for that in the south.
Many thanks to all the Amberley Museum Staff, Members and Exhibitors for putting on such a great show again for this year. It defiantly topped last years show in size with 9 more miniatures than last years event. The rain came in but the show carried on and the exhibitors were always in good spirit. As the 2023 season for shows is coming to a end a special thanks to all model road steamers I have seen over the past year at different shows this was one of my best years yet in event coverage all thanks to the hard work of maintaining and transporting your engines to shows. Looking forward to seeing all of you back on the rally field next year.
