I recently picked up a Studio Electronics Tonestar 8106, a slight impulse buy from a sale this past weekend. It's a complete synth voice, and while slightly large, has a lot of functionality and CV I/O.
At the start of summer I had started a swap out, selling off quite a few of my modules and have been slowly replacing them. At the moment I don't have a good melodic sequencer, so I decided to use two of my other recent acquisitions -- Strymon Magneto and Make Noise Morphagene -- and do a little bit of an ambient doodle. Nothing mind blowing in this video, just a little fun with way too much reverb.
I'm feeling slightly more comfortable with the Magneto, but I still have a lot to learn with the Morphagene. Magneto really does a lot more than it appears on the surface.
