Another stress-relief ambient track.
Setup:
- Fat Bass sounds with Impulse Command.
- Pads with Minilogue XD, going through H90.
- A few more notes with Minilogue XD module (onboard FX)
- A Drumbeat layer played by the MC707 in the background, decimated by Ottobit Jr BitCrusher.

Kool. Are you layering the two XD's? All the lack of analog true stereo design has always got me look at buying two synths and layering left right of varying degrees of panning. So you're not afraid of deep diving synth manuals :) that is where the secrets can be found, I read them all over and over, looking for that creative sound design or effects design or both combined into a space of sound mass no one has heard before. Though happy accidents happen too, these are rare because my intent on sound is very specific to each composition. Exciting isn't it?

I acquired a second XD (a module version this time) with the intent of using it either as a second layer (same notes but different sounds) to thicken the pads, or to leverage the polychain mode to double the polyphony. But in that particular jam track I simply use it as another independent synth :) I love the simplicity of the XDs. Some limitations (like the lack of stereo panning control or too few modulations to my personal taste) but yet very hands on and still versatile thanks to the digital user oscillator.
