AMC Lodge to Lodge Cross Country Skiing in Northern Maine 

We started at Medawisla then skied to West Branch Pond camps, then to Little Lyford, then to Gorman Chairback, and finally to the parking lot where we left our car. It was about 8 miles of skiing a day. The lodges cooked us breakfast and dinner and packed us a bagged lunch for the trail. They also ferried our luggage to the next lodge via snowmobile. All the lodges were AMC lodges ( Appalachian Mountain Club) , except West Branch Pond Camps, which is privately owned. The entire trip was spectacular!
