BANDMAID IS KICK-ASS! They are so incredibly talented that it’s hard for me to get my head around it all! They are so “Tight” and sound fundamentally that they make most other rock bands look like Beginners! TOTALLY AWESOME!

That's the thing @Chris Bergsten! I sit here ready to react to one of their songs and I basically end up with my jaw on the ground. After a crazy 3-4 minutes I'm sitting there stumbling over my words. The song "Play" was my first experience to them and I sat there staring at the video wondering what the hell was going on. They are really incredible 👍👏🤘😱

Great reaction!! It's actually kinda funny when reactors that enjoy Band-Maid & are three, four, maybe five songs in, & to hear them say "that was my favorite song by them so far". It's funny because these girls have such a deep catalog & as you do more, you'll more than likely would have to say that phrase at least a dozen more times. A friend briefly tried to do encores, except half the club sound guys thought he was done and would turn on the house lights and house sound. He got tired of losing part of his set and returned to playing straight through.

I enjoy your Band-Maid reactions. I'd like you to react to "Blooming" by Band-Maid; the video has only been out for about a month and already has over half a million views. I haven't always liked their studio videos (relative to their live performance videos, that is) but they really got it right for "Blooming". The band just keeps getting better and better, and this new video showcases how they have continued to "level up". This is state-of-the-art Band-Maid!

I had the good fortune to see them live back in September, this song was the highlight of the set. You just don't get the full effect unless you're in the crowd when it's going nuts, singing, chanting, accidentally moshing in a no-moshing venue...anyways, a cell phone video of it is up on RU-vid if you're curious ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-p8zaUDVK6Nc.html. Keep in mind, the "Live" ones from Zepp Tokyo are post-produced a bit, the crowd noise is taken out and it's largely overdubbed by the studio version of the crowd singing.

@@DannymikReacts Actually musically, this was a good song. I have no idea what they were singing about though. The random English lyrics did not help. As for Neil, at least I knew that he was absolutely retired and there wasn't another album or tour on the way. I'm also glad that, after his hiatus after his first wife and daughter passed away, that not did he make a comeback, but the band came back better than ever and more popular and respected. Rush in Rio was their second largest headlining show with the next night in Sao Paulo being their biggest. The finally got in the Hall of Fame. (Yes did, a few years later, but just after their single constant member and my favorite bassist Chris Squire died.) It wasn't like the shock of Jeff Buckley's death. I was working in the music department of a store and kept checking when his next album was coming out when I read he drowned in a river on the way to the studio for a session. Neil at least got the chance to everything he had, thought it wasn't enough, and took lessons to learn how to lay better, then gave the rest. Yeah, I read about the death of Neil Peart's wife and daughter. That must have one hell for him to deal with. I can't imagine life without my wife and kids... they are everything to me! And to come back and take it to another level... that's beautiful. Btw, I have a subscriber beating down the door for me to do a Jeff Buckley reaction. So, as long as the copyrights don't punish my channel I will do one. I will have to pick a good one since I've never heard the man perform. Decisions decisions!! Avoid Hallelujah as you have probably heard it somewhere. Either his definitive cover or one of the later covers of his cover (Rufus Wainwright in Shrek). I don't think copyright is a problem but there are live versions of most. The best start I think would be the title track, Grace. Other choices to start, Last Goodbye or Mojo Pin. Grace is my favorite album of all time. A quite varied selection of originals and covers that somehow gels into a whole. Radiohead's The Bends, early Coldplay and Muse were all clearly heavily influenced by this album.
I don't understand the whole J-Rock thing. ROCK IS ROCK. Do you call Metallica and Pantera A-Rock? RUSH is C-Rock? Other than that, very nice reaction.
