FYI - Spencer from Embrace The Suck was visiting the UK recently (in June). He's a big Chinese and Thai food fan (eaten plenty in the US), and trying the food here in the UK he said is so much better. Some other US vloggers have said the same thing. Ken Hom (Hong Kong Chinese TV chef and cookery writer) says the Chinese food in London Chinatown is the best outside of China.

True. I have been watching Spence from Embrace The Suck over here and many Yanks on You Tube seem to love the Chinese and Indian restaurants and Take Aways over here more than those they have back in the USA. American friends of ours from New Jersey and Florida rave about the food over here and yet the UK has a reputation of having crap food according to many people around the world.

@@nickrobinson8339 Yes, it's great to see these endorsements. To be fair, those perceptions of UK food was formed by US soldiers based here in WWII in the midst of rationing. Restrictions didn't lift for years afterwards, and it wasn't really until the 1980s when food culture beganto change as people travelled abroad, and chefs from overseas and home grown ones started to reshape our food landscape. Quality and variety of produce, TV cooks and chef's through the 80s and 90s really helped educate, enlighten and open the floodgates here. Reputation change has taken longer, no thanks to tourists eating in tourist trap eateries e.g. Aberdeen Steakhouses, and getting bad advice from tour operators. Thankfully, things have started to change, and the World is learning. 😃

KB... The UK has some great Chinese food. I'm in London and here we have a LOT of fantastic restaurants. But my job took me all over (Scotland, Wales & NI) and you can always get good food, from Indian, Italian, Turkish, in fact ANY type if you do a bit of research first. Many years ago (over 20), I had a Chinese in Racine, Wisconsin and apart from the huge amount, it was very unremarkable - Extremely bright colours (obviously dyed) and VERY sweet - yet my American colleagues 'raved' about the place!? I think that was when I realised just how much sugar or corn syrup is used in American foodstuffs! 😢😮

14:33 Thing is Boomer, it probably wasn't even intentional for him to mishandle the gun like that in character, ie to show his inexperience etc. Likely no one on production even knew! Brits just don't have any experience in the slightest with firearms is all.🤷‍♀ The finale to KMKY was obviously slightly different! The victim actually pointed it out in that scene as I recall.

I live about 30minute drive from Bolton. Chinese restaurants are really good, the takeaway only places can be hit and miss though. Crispy duck is my favourite 😋 same with Indian food places.
