Hey, I already did this, and yes I was correct with them all! I have distinct advantage, my grandmother taught at a finishing school, in elocution and deportment, and she made me read clearly and sit up straight every day! 👍 There are definitely tongue twisters! 😂

Yes we do pronounce some things differently in all the English speaking countries. But I think what they mean by pronounciation, is about the crazy English rules at times. For example, how one word can look/be spelt similar to another but be pronounced differently. And that's true regardless of whether it's England, USA, Australia etc. And yeah it's also a tongue twister.

I think you missed the point here. It's about letters or groups of letters that are pronounced (both in the UK and US) differently depending on the word, e.g. 'move', 'love', grove'; 'through' though', 'enough', etc.

I think you are confusing chez (home) with chaise (chair) which are both French. The French usually don't pronounce the last consonant. So chez is pronounced shay and chaise is pronounced shaze but chais would be pronounced shay. I have tried to give the closest pronunciation using English spelling but of course the actual pronunciation would require the phonetic alphabet.

Lol yes I can, the first time you try these, you should turn off the speaker and read along, aloud with it. It defeats the purpose of the test to have the voice over is on.😜👍 You a right though about it being made to make you trip up, also that accent and culture make's work sound very different 👍

English is craziness sometimes and let's not even start on the ph sounding like f, why not just use f, we teach kids to sound out words phonetically but you can't even sound out phonetic 😂 psych
