My favourite ESC performance of all time! She clearly raised the level for the upcoming years. Loreen is such an amazing artist. She’s one of my favourite singers overall, not just from ESC.

Agree with you, it kind of was a wake up call for all countries to step it up with song quality to be honest, instead of gimmick. tacky performances, with that i mean Less is more ...that is my opinion at least

@@daretodream9765 She might, but we just haven't realised it yet. We might look back on this years later as a major icon and a turning point. The overall quality skyrocketed after this. Nowadays even the gag acts are good and can even win the whole thing. Bad songs hardly exist anymore (though there are exceptions).

@@FanFictionneer I mean she hasn't become as famous, well-known and probably best-selling as ABBA was. She couldn't release second album after ESC for years and still doesn't have as major hits as Euphoria. Only Eurovision fans know about her.

@@daretodream9765 ABBA is a very unique case though. Not many Eurovision winners became THAT famous. Famous, yes, but not ABBA's kind of famous. Céline Dion is the second exception. So yeah, can't really compare to ABBA or Céline Dion, those aren't normal. I think it's reasonable to think we'll have another one like that eventually, but it's really rare. There's plenty of celebrities around the world, but only a select few get to be that famous anyway so it only makes sense that not every Eurovision winner becomes that famous, it'd be disproportionate.

She is indeed the best,i traveled twice from Belgium to Sweden and the netherlands for her and was lucky to meet er twice,she's allways kind and makes time for her fans,she looks at you with her heart,she listens to you with her eyes and she allways know the right thing to say,allways the right awnsers to the questions they ask her. Loreen =LOVE,JOY AND POWER 🙂

I still love Loreen as well, she's such a good singer! Sure she hasnt had any popular hits as big as Euphoria or even My Heart is Refusing Me but she does make really good music.

Her parent are from Morocco: Amazigh people. Or in Arabic, Berber. Her real name: Lorine Zineb Nora Talhaoui. ''Loreen was born in Stockholm, Sweden, in 1983 to Moroccan Berber immigrant parents. She was raised in a liberal Muslim household. Early in her life, Loreen moved to Västerås. She grew up there, and calls Västerås her hometown. She spent most of her teenage years in Gryta, a residential area in Västerås.''

When i heard this song in Melodifestivalen at first, i could just tell it was gonna be a winner song. It's was also clear it would have a big chance at winning at eurovision too.

I recommend watching her performence in the Swedish melodifestivalen . The camera and cutting is better than the Eurovision one.more closeups and more minimalistic.. According to me ofc:)

The problem with this reaction is that you clearly love it, and you've watched it a million times. Why wouldn't you, I've also watched it a million times. But because you love it, you are expecting them to love it too, so they feel pressured into responding. Which then causes them to not respond genuinely. If you're going to have other people react to something you've already seen a million times then firstly, they need to actually want to do it. The way the guy starts to zone out and looking around at 2:40 he's clearly bored. Maybe he does like it but if he does his response is clearly being overshadowed by yours. Which leads to my second point, if you want a genuine reaction from other people on something you clearly love, then you need to be unreactive yourself so they dont feel pressurized into trying to match your reaction, or you need to not be present.
