I swear this is the fastest growing city in Asia. it changes every couple of years. let's say if your last visit is 5 years ago, the city is already significantly different if you come again. there's cranes everywhere. I call it the city of cranes. so many construction
I dont think so. The rest city in the south east asia also with the same temperature in the development progress.Hanoi also with rapid development and it is no wonder because most of the South East Asia are racing to the develop own country toward modern country. Singapore the city nation is the first country in SEA achieved the developed city state so no mass development is required unlike the other nations. The only thing made different for KL. We trapped in the status upper class medium standard city. KL and precisely Malaysia are struggling to move out from this status.Therefore, Malaysia need to improve the KL standard to the next level infra. Built the tall building doesn't mean the city is advance state but have to include environment care and facility is user and nature friendly. Example London and Geneva not with the tall building but they with the state of the art facility. My thought

i hate it. cant they freeze the construction for once.. 4 major construction sites. and they are not even for single building. they are a neigborhood of buildings in constructions. in downtown alone..
you need a license to fly drones in some places in malaysia and there are some places not allowed to fly drones,like goverment building or national palace or airport
Gambling isn't legal here in Malaysia . But there's one place that's is Las Vegas of Malaysia only 2 hours from Kuala Lumpur called Genting Highlands resort . Big casino.
And d best thing about KL is d cost of living, cheap food n its abundance variety from d Malay, Chinese n Indian cuisines, affordable accommodation, easy transportation, plenty of touristy attractions n much more. 🇲🇾

There is Samalaju Port in Sarawak may be alternative for Port Klang. So a lot of factories & business also may shift to Bintulu & Miri.. We may see next level of Sarawak if the federal & state govt collaborate for it...

3:50 is the TRX tower (Tun Razak Exchange) is right now the tallest tower in Malaysia, and it will be second when PNB118 completed. Fun fact you can actually sky dive from a tower in KL, I think its the KL tower.

Effective this month, newer permits are required for drones. In some areas, drones are not allowed for National Security reasons. Fyi, we drive on the RIGHT SIDE of the road 😊. There are many International hotels from US, Canada, Japan and Germany in Kuala Lumpur. The KL Tower in pink is one of the leading skydiving spots in the world.
At the start of the video, 2:53 the tall standalone building (that looks like a popsicle 😅) on the left side is KL Tower. It has a 360 revolving restaurant at the top of the tower. And 4:33 the building with the hole in the middle, it's a typical building design in Hong Kong and China. The hole in the middle is called the "dragon gates", it's a design following the fengshui concept. You can google "dragon gates building design" to find out more about it. 😉
Kuala Lumpur built different guys, the topography is insane, Kuala Lumpur located at confluence of two river and surrounded by hill, many buildings are build in top of hill and thats why you see road and highway not straight and curvy... Walking around KL is exhausting...

The one in Dubai is cancelled. PNB 118 might be the last new megatall building for quite sometimes. KL is expecting another 400m tall building located near PNB118. It’s called Signature Tower. And there will be some equally tall towers in Bandar Malaysia (still in KL) which will be built within this decade.
For pnb118, this building is the second after burj for a while after the completion of 1km Saudi's Jeddah tower. But this tower still on hold. i lovee new york skyline. Those skinny glassy supertall everywhere
There are no casinos in KL and the only one in the country is about an hour drive from the city at normal speeds. It's up the hill in that street racing video you reviewed recently. The night video is the one going up the mountain, the day video is the highway leading to said mountain. Drones flights require a paid permit per flight but many people still fly them illegally. For me its better in texas than new york, u can go to new york sometimes but u don't want to be stuck on ur expensive bills and the traffic jam is the worst Edit: same here in kl, even though im only the traveler but the traffic jam is so so so stressing

There only legal casino in Malaysia is at Genting Highlands, around 1.5hours drive from Kuala Lumpur City Center. Else the only gambling you can do is 4D lottery but only limited to a few licensed company like Magnum, Toto, Damacai Hope to see you guys in Malaysia soon and do some great reaction videos here
aloft hotel here is awesome. I’ve stayed there. There’s a cool rooftop pool, cool lounge with really nice atmosphere here. It is right next to Central station in KL, good place. Recommended
Kuala Lumpur just like the other cities with concrete building and modern transport. The thing made Kuala Lumpur is about diversity of the culture obviously different between 3 major ethics and full of migrants from various countries.
Platinum is a service appartment. On the top floor they have an infinity pool and a lounge with views of the Petronas Towers. You can rent an AirBnB there. Its relatively cheap. It cost btw USD70-80 per night for a 2 bedroom. Yes we have alot of American hotels here. Hilton, Sheraton, Ritz, holiday villa to name a few. And yes, we do have 1 casino in Malaysia. Its called Genting Highland Resort World It is the largest casino resort in the world. Its located at Genting Highland Hill in the state of Pahang. Its about an easy 45mins drive from KL. They were suppose to build a 21st century Fox theme park there but Disney pulled out thr last minute when they bought over 21st century fox. Genting is currently suing Disney as they have already invested billions in its construction. Living in KL is like NY in terms of diversity but its relatively cheap by US standards.
Theres another tower supposed to be 1km tall in jeddah, saudi arabia, but they have stopped construction i think since 2018. Not sure about another tower in dubai though. But currently, pnb118 will be the second tallest after burj dubai.
I'm from Kuala Lumpur and lived in Dallas for several years for my masters degree. I have to say my first impression of downtown Dallas was like wow, this is so much like Kuala Lumpur! and I'm so glad you're thinking the same XD but KL got better food trust us

If i were you guys visiting Malaysia for the first time, I would go visit the country side first. Immerse myself with mother nature. Then I would go to KL for shopping and food hunting. Yea sure, KL has some interesting places but mostly its just big boring offices and building and lots of pollution, traffic jams.. Its a headache. I live in KL my entire life so yea. Just a tip.
Pnb will be the 2nd for a while . And mecca tower will be the 1st for a while to . After the new one in dubai done . Pnb only can take the 2nd title until the mecca tower done . And Malaysia will build another skycrapers by 2030 . Hopefully the Sarawak project which they want to build the great wall like China will approve .
Malaysia do have legal lotteries almost everywherr, however, you only can gamble legally in Genting Highland, around 1 hour and 40 mins drive from Kuala Lumpur. They have massive casino there.
