The meaning behind the song is that they have infected you with a poison that makes you fall in love with them and that their ambition is to be the best group in K-pop. So yeah they're essentially using this song as a debut and mission statement.

This was their debut song! The other songs you heard already are pre-debut singles which are now part of their debut album. A great start for a group!

You were not too far off: it’s from the Latin word potio, which gives us both potion and poison. Ponzoña is a Spanish equivalent of poison, even if most Spanish speakers lost it in favourite of cement (venom). I’m not too sure about all aspects of the video itself, but the song is basically “We have now entered your system and we’ll never leave. There’s no antidote to Purple K!ss. Soon the whole world will succumb under our influence.” They are pretty ridiculous. The song was written by one of the members, Swan, as an evaluation exercise then two more members joined to flesh it out as a full song. Not sure about this song, but they said for another song that they choreographed it themselves (Dosie, Ireh, Chaein). The rapper, Yuki, is Japanese, and she writes her own verses. Swan, their youngest, has unreal voice, and was selected at age 15 to record the guide vocals for Chungha and Mamamoo songs. The rest are “not as good” like the rest of Dreamcatcher are not as good as Soyeon: most could be main vocals in another group. Dosie, Chaein and Ireh are all good at drawing or painting, too. Several of them have pretty good English, notably Swan. I mean... Ridiculous. In the best possible way. :)
