Bruh it’s called a reload. When Charlie pulled it up. When an MC or rapper is killing it the DJ reloads the track so they can go in again. Its a huge sign of respect and it’s a big part of grime and uk rap culture

Overrated bar imo, just mentioning a bunch of a rappers albums and singles without making sense. Compare it to Avelino’s duppy for example “The Life of Pablo, this College Dropout Graduated; now I’m Picasso”. Mentions 3 diff Ye albums whilst simultaneously telling us how he dropped out of school and is now like Picasso; an elite artist. Wretch is still a genius don’t get me wrong.

The bars the guy on the left wanted explaining: "Everyone wants to be a Dr. Dre until they lose their patience (patients)" - Meaning, everybody wants to be the GOAT until they get impatient with the grind and then give up. Play on words with the “Dr” in Dr Dre. "I used to want to go from the bitch to the Brits cuz, then I realised its a fix when you're skins dark, should I do a Kanye and keep it triller, fuck that even when I lose, i'm a winner" - Referring to when Kanye disturbed Taylor Swifts acceptance speech at the awards when he thought that Beyonce should have won, the brits is the biggest musical award in the UK. But you guys missed so many better bars too.

@@ivangeoghegan4833 He definitely is, these man are sleeping. Wretch gets all the plaudits for this cos he’s an OG and got a wheel-up but he had a lot of filler in there along with heavy bars. Avelino dropped twice as many hayemakers in half the time, every line was a punch.

Yh these are written, the dr dre bar was a double- losing patience and doctors losing patients and I think the rappers choose the beats for this it’s not Charlie giving them. Finally, as much as people get annoyed with Charlie stopping wretch and starting again, in UK culture it’s maybe the biggest sign of respect when someone’s rapping

typically in classic UK pirate radio where UK urban music was born, the DJ would stop the freestyle if it was too fire. It was called a "wheel up" aka a rewind to hear the fire again, it was one of the most prestigious signs of respect in the UK rap community.
