I can't wait to see them all!!! The one I really want to see is a new clean install of the OS 3.2, I Just say Amiga Bill's video on his first impression and 13 things he really likes so far in the OS. I have an A1200 and got my Vampire 1200 V2 around a month ago and have been also really busy of late, so I have only put it in the machine taking out my 030 1233n card to make sure it works after being shipped here from over seas. It works with my OS 3.1 SD card and a few more demanding games seemed to run better. I just got my Coffin R58 OS SD card from England over the weekend and will be trying it today. I like what I've seen of OS 3.2, but from what I've seen in videos of Coffin OS I think it has everything I'd need for gaming and takes full advantage of the Vampire card. I like how it allows the 1200 to run SUMM VM games (All those great point and click games I played on my DOS machines in the 90's) and also the older apple computers emulation so I can try all those old apple games that I never got to because I never had an Apple. I started in 1983 with my C64 which I still have set up and use and then switched to DOS in 1993 with an 386SX 25Mhz.
Cool projects to look forward to. I’m VERY interested in your PAL experiments with the ACE2b. I’ve been looking at getting one so I can have a 1.3 Workbench setup with 2Mb ChipRAM but the NTSC at power on was putting me off. If it can be swapped for a PAL variant of the chip that would be great 👍
Looking forward to this :D I have the Furia. Very, very fast 020 accelerator. Faster than any other 020 I've tried. And very fast HD speed. It is extremely picky about CF cards so I had to use an IDE to SD card adapter instead to make it stable. But with SD cards it runs flawless
The ACE2/ACE2B is not for the 500+/rev8. But there is cheaper/easier ways to expand the 500+ to 2MB chip that don't interfere with CPU expansions like the ACE2 will
Indeed, The ACE2B will be installed on my A500 Rev 3, same as the ACE2 was a few months back. Will be interesting to see if I can get a PAL 8375 that is compatible with it to play along.
