Amira has such a pure voice. I first came across her when she was on one of those “(insert country) Got Talent”. She sang opera even then, and at 9 yrs old and was SELF TAUGHT. I was blown away and when she sang it brought a tear to my eye, that’s how beautiful her voice is.
Amira was 12 years old then, she already had 3 years of top level performing behind her. She is phenomenal. She can reach and sustain very high notes. Her singing O mio babinno caro with Andre Rieu, aged 10, is amazing, as is her latest video release, from a couple of weeks ago, Amen, with the Ndlovu choir. She never fails to impress. What a nice reaction btw.
Amira is incredibly talented, not only a beautiful voice, but a sweet soul that feels what she sings and make you feel in heaven. Nice reaction. Do more of her. Today she is 19 years old, so you have a lot of videos to choose.
Great Reaction, Sarah! About the same age she sung O Sole Mio, a duet with Patrizio Bunanne. Aged 10 she was on stage with Andre Rieu, singing O Mio Babbino Caro, before around 12.000 people. She is now 19 and this year sang Gesu Bambino in an empty church in the Netherlands, her father playing the organ and boyfriend with the camera.
When she debuted on "Holland's Got Talent", one of the judges said she was like a reincarnation of Maria Callas, and it occurred to me that "Amira" is an anagram of "Maria."

Nella fantasía , composed by Ennio Morricone , born like instrumental song , with the introduction of this video , call The river , both for the movie The mission ( Robert de Niro , Jeremie Irons ) The great soprano Sarah Brightman wrote the lyric and turned Nella fantasia in a song with lyric , that remind to Imagine by John Lennon . Amira here was 12 years old with a presence on the stage amazing for her short age . This video is in South Afrika , in the mega concert Afrikaan is groot . This beautiful aria with music by Ennio Morricone from the film “The Mission,” and lyrics added by Chiara Ferraù is about an imaginary world of peace and harmony. I presume the implication is that this is the fantasy of the missionary which provokes enormous irony. The “mission” of the missionary is to persuade the indigenous people to abandon their cultural traditions and superstitions in favor of the missionary’s culture and superstitions. Europeans generally regarded indigenous peoples to be “savages” in need of “salvation.” So the fantasy is presumably about a world of European culture and superstition, rather than of any sort of diversity or inclusion. The first 2 minutes is another Ennio Morricone composition called "The River" with the voices of the Mzansi Youth Choir, then Amira comes on stage for Nella Fantasia.
