High performance ammonium nitrate smoke was prepared and tested for demonstrational educational and entertainment purposes.
"High performance" mean that it is more effective than homemade potassium nitrate
or ammonium nitrate smokes but among military smokes this mix is one of the weakest
(close to commercially available airsoft smokes). Because of low
efficiency and some physical properties this mix is not suitable for military applications.
Cheap price and relatively low toxicity makes it suitable for training(airsoft, reconstructions, movies,
photosessions e.t.c.)
Safety protocols are the same as for commercial airsoft smokes i.e. for outdoor use only,
do not use at crowded places, mass actions or close to flammble objects,
do nor hold in your hands when igniting and avoid inhaling the smoke(applicable to any pyrotechnics)
