If he's screaming at the top of his lungs that it was drugs, it almost definitely wasn't drugs

I assume he brought home some type of munition that's illegal to own or bring to the states, Zack doesn't seem the kind of guy to be so interested in drugs that he'd risk smuggling them back. Unique ammo he can't get in the states however, that seems like something Zack would risk an international incident for.

Salt and pepper are all that's needed with a decent steak but you have to know your stuff to go without seasoning and even then it depends on how you cook it

I too am in this club, bit it was my mom cooking. And worse she would bake it. She would get a massive steak put it on a grill pan and throw it in the oven. Then halfway through she would put in a baking sheet of french fries. I always hated shoe leather night. Years later I asked mom why she cooked it that way since she is normally a good cook. She said it was how my stepdad liked it. He immediately said no, I prefer medium. One argument later we all realized that we had been eating shitty steak for years and everyone hated it.

Yeah, a lot of veterans either will either not encourage you to join up or don’t really care one way or the other. There’s a pretty slim amount of people who thrive completely in a military setting and those people almost always end up as pencil pushers. Tbh I would keep your options open. Don’t exclusively look into making the Army your career. Get some hobbies and interests and pursue them however you can while you are enlisted (and use the benefits you get to help you get a degree or be certified to work in that field after you get discharged).

@@jerrell1169 thanks man that sounds like pretty solid advice. Do you think doing all of that’s possible to do while going for ranger? I researched the rangers some and I really like what I see and I want to try for it.

@@tendingzero8046 Not a soldier, but from my non-existent knowledge you should try to use your earnings to save up for college or find a job in the military that teaches you skills useful in a civilian setting. preferably both. Never hurts to have a backup plan or two in the back pocket.
