Used am steel for first time this season with the tethrd skeletors sticks. Pretty impressive stuff. I could see why someone would want to use it for the platform, would get rid of the clanky sound from buckle strap contacting the platform.
Make sure you buy a suitable size rope for the application. Don't buy a rope designed for a stick and use it on a platform, and make sure you watch my other video. It goes over all the Amsteel safety precautions you need to take to remain safe while using Amsteel rope mods.
amsteel all the way. i use these and have for over a year now. gun to head, id never use a cam buckle again. knots are better than anything mechanical.
@@MichiganAmBushOutdoors amsteel is an incredible product. I’m 6 feet and probably over 200lbs geared up. And I use buckleless half inch straps from lone wolf on my sticks and the USA pro for my stand wherever it’s a .5 or the fix and it’s rock solid light quiet and quick!
