Have you tried any other AMT preamps? I have the B2. Great for down tuning and nails early AIC all day, but for lower gain stuff, not so great. Sterile, cold, choked up, etc. For my cover band, mostly 70’s and 80’s rock, with some country and blues, it’s not cutting it. I also had the P2, but it was just too gainy and “fizzy”. I love real thick, almost fuzz breakup, so I thought the O2 might be the one to get. I want saggy bottom end, chewy, organic, warm, etc.

Hey Joe! I just got one of these, but I'm currently away from the rest of my rig at the moment. Do you think this gets up to gigging volume if you plug the F1 straight into the effects return of an amp?

Do you recommand the AMT F1 preamp for clean direct recording ?

So, okay, the F1 is a Fender. But what Fender? Dual Showman Silverface? Deluxe '55 Tweed? '61 Brownface Princeton? '58 Big Box Twin? '59 Tweed Bassman? '65 Deluxe Reverb?
