Amtrak Trains Galore! 

I love Amtrak trains no matter what train it is, ACS64, Acela, P42DC, F59PHI, F40PH or the B32-8W, but I've never been on an Amtrak😢

For the last 25 years I have made 2 extended AMTRAK trips a year. I grew up in Washington so at least half the trips go there. I have been trying to find different routes there. There are quite a few ways to do this. Many of my trips are to places that I had never been before. I always tried to save up enough money to get a sleeper when available. I have discovered that most of my fellow travelers are relaxed and pleasant companions. None have been annoyed by the time a trip takes otherwise we would be on an airplane. I have just turned 90, so my real traveling days are over. Watching your video brings me so many delightful and enjoyable memories. Just because I cry like a baby watching them the tears are tears of joy. Blessings Jim

I’ve only ever seen ONE seimens charger that was on the surferliner in Dana point California. I still only see p42’s such as 61 69 63 and 58 in Texas. Also have an AWESOME summer mike!!

I have ridden these Amtrak cascade trains before to Seattle and back to Washington and it was really nice thanks for this train video

At 19:43 is Amtrak P42DC #13 which it was one of the diesels that provided power for 261’s October 2003 Season over her home rails and for 3751’s two day May 2010 trip to and from San Diego.

немного не в тему,но...интересно..из ютьюба о фильме Троя!....в фильме многое напутано,Ахилл был высокого роста(не менее 2м) и был с черным волосом,а Гектор был чуть ниже,но имел светлые волосы,к тому же они встречались до своей битвы на играх(подобие олимпийских)где встречались в финале боксёрского боя и победил,кстати,Гектор,а на своей финальной битве на мечах,при Трое,во время осады города),только судья отравил меч Гектора и Ахилл был отравлен,через более часовой битвы между Гектором и Ахиллом у них была ничья...да и "конь троянский"вовсе не деревянный был,а это отборные всадники(объединённых сил против Трои,переоделись в троянскую конницу и хитростью проникли в Трою и открыли ворота! ................и кстати,не забываем,благодарим Бога за жизнь!

3 days remain Till Amtrak Coast Starlight And the other 3 I don’t know about will be returning to Daily service, now I’m really excited, finally we’ll get 2 long distance trains in one days

As always a fabulous video. Looks great on my new 65 inch 4K OLED TV. Those Amfleet cars still look great after all these years. I'm more than a little bias since my dad was an electrical design enginner on this project. He spent his entire career at the Budd Company's Red Lion Plant in the Northeast section of Philadelphia. Other projects he worked on were the original RDC, the old PTC, later SEPTA Market Street Eleavated Subway cars which were lovinglee referd to as the Almond Joy cars because of the three exaust fans on the top of each car. PTC and the city of Philadelphia did not want to spend the money to air condition each car. He also worked on New York MTA subway cars, the original Metro Liner, Metro North passenger cars, Chicago CTA Subway cars, Pennsylvania and Reading Railroad Stainless Steal MU cars, the SPV2000 which was supposed to replace the origianal RDC's and I think his final projedt before Budd went out of busines was the first of the Amtrak Supperliner cars

I'm going to be traveling soon again since being healed from hip replacement in 2021. I'm used to riding Greyhound, but everyone telling me to ride Amtrak from Atlanta GA to Hopkinsville KY
