Nothing. She made a movie and someone shot up a theater where it was showing. She expressed concerns about gun violence and that was it. She re-used an idea about dating a magician in her sketch show and people freaked like comedians never steal each other’s jokes. Also, she’s related to Chuck Shumer.

Finally I get to be a jackal! "The prince" doesn't fall in love with Rapunzel because there is no prince in the movie. Flynn Rider falls in love with Rapunzel and doesn't become a prince until maybe after getting married to Rapunzel (not sure how their monarchy system works)

These are standup bits. You'll see how Seth goes "so I imagine this is when you're introducing him to Disney movies" - and she goes "yes, but it's a little problematic...". Seth knows she has the Disney movie bit - so he sets her up to 'tell a story'. I'm just saying you shouldn't try and separate her from standup and talk shows - she's always doing bits. These ones happen to be more family oriented because she's a mom now. Her standup is solid, it was just over saturated. I bet if you watch her first special you'll laugh your dick off. Also as another user wrote - Inside Amy Schumer is genuinely one of the best sketch comedy shows, if you liked her here, I bet you'll enjoy it!

There are plenty of well respected women in the comedy community. Amy Schumer is not one of them because she clearly stole jokes (often from other women), and has a reputation of bumping comics and taking their time at a show.

She did not steat jokes. There are many instances of duplicate jokes from all comedians. They go for the low hanging fruit sometimes. Like how in the 90s when email came out everyone made snail mail jokes and thought they were geniuses for it. It's convergent evolution.

I am a mother and my daughter is learning how to be a woman and love herself by observing my behaviour. If she's watching a marimade acting strange, it's a great moment for a discussion. I am a parent and parenting is my responsibility. Movies are not there to do my job. Those expectations are ridiculous.

@Ally Mins I don't have a son but it applies to both gender, surely I would use problematic moments and explain not to kiss a girl without her consent, just as it is explained in Maleficent. My husband is a good role model and shows how to treat a woman with respect and love. My daughter will have a benchmark to compare her future partners to. If we had a boy he would have a role model in my husband. I don't have to do the whole parenting alone. Most children have a male role model, if not a father then a grandfather, uncle, older brother. We don't live in a void that needs to be filled with movies. It is our responsibility to raise children and shifting it to the entertainment industry is just bizarre.

I would actually watch "Selling Skytown", bahahaha. It's not a bad idea even though she was kidding. It would even be cool to have a show for broke college students trying to find cheap homes in NYC, coming from another college student. Or maybe renovating really shitty apartments for an affordable price, type of show. I'm from Oklahoma, so watching reality shows that take place in big cities are fun for me! I've had friends move to New York for school and it'd be cool to watch them take their journeys in finding cheap, affordable apartments. My mom and dad watch hella home shows and said they have similar stuff already, but no college shows that I know of!

Rapunzel’s long gold hair imprisons her, her foster mother values her only for the entangling hair’s magical ability to grant her eternal youth, and when the hair is cut, R is freed from the whole pathetic “golden-haired princess in a tower” stereotype. She can be herself, brown hair and all. Her guy never cared about her hair. We should be more horrified that the only parent she’s ever known falls to her death, and R barely notices.

This is why my feminist mom showed me Miyazaki films instead of Disney's regressive princess movies. Kiki's Delivery Service was my favourite! I had so many dreams of flying because of that. And later, Harry Potter lol.
