First of all, the way you put together your video is awesome. Your machinist skills are evident. This project must have taken days to accomplish, all shown in a mere 19 minutes. I think you did a phenomenal job. I didn't expect the powder coating, that was great. Now you have a workable tool to be proud of. Thank you for taking the time to create this, I enjoyed it.
Except he didn’t work harden the rollers SMDH went OVER the top with everything else. This “tool” won’t last very long. You can see that at the end where it is digging into the rollers
Absolutely incredible! Your skills as a machinist and a videographer are top notch. New subscriber and glad of it. I had to mute the music though. Please keep posting these high quality vids! Thank you so much.
Это один из лучших монтажей, что я видел, чел, ты просто шикарен! И работа на уровне, и музыка, и качество видео. Шлю тебе вайбы добра и надеюсь, что ты наберешь как минимум пару лямов подписоты)
There is something truly satisfying about freshly machined steel, especially when it’s apparent that whoever is doing the machining knows what they’re doing. I really missed my calling to be a machinist, it’s something that I regret. Great work! 💪🤟👊
Hey, me too. I wanted to be a machinist when I left school but back in 1980 you got no help writing applications or CV’s. I can only imagine how bad my applications were. I’m 60 this year but it was probably for the best as I doubt I would enjoy machining as a hobby. I’ve had a lathe for many years but it was only last year that I picked up a Bridgeport style mill. Now I spend my retirement playing/ learning in my workshop and enjoying nearly every moment of it. I still get annoyed with myself when I stuff it up 😂😂😂. Cheers Stuart 🇦🇺
@@scroungasworkshop4663 how cool, I’m not at a place where I can have machines like that, maybe someday. I’m 54, and disabled from working in construction all my life, and though I can’t do a lot of the things that I used to do, I still love to tinker around at my workbench like a man possessed! 😂 So where in Australia are you from? My mom and younger sister lived in Albany and Mandurah for many years, my mom passed away last year but my sister still lives there. I’ve been there twice now, the first time when I was a young man, I backpacked from Albany to Darwin and had the time of my life! It was really cool! Back then, in the 80’s, Australia was like America in the 50’s. No crime to speak of, complete strangers would invite me into their homes, I made a lot of friends and had a blast! Last time, me and my sister went over to have a family reunion, about a year and a half before my mom passed, so it was good times, alright mate, sorry for the winge, as you all say!, 😂😂take care, cheers! 🤟🤙
I would love to be a machinist ,but my father is a carpenter,so,im a carpenter too..and in my free time i love to fooling around and play with metals, welding etc. When i visit my local machinery shop,am amazed by the old talented man, making wonders. Hope one day in the future buy a mini metal lathe and start practicing. stay safe and healthy guys! Cheers from Greece!
@@georgestam1710 well, it seems that there’s a whole bunch of us out there, eh? But remember, you can do anything you set your mind to, many people these days are reinventing themselves. Sometimes, I think that I have a hard time believing that I could be or do anything different, but while it’s easier when you’re younger, anything is possible!
@@dozerboy67 Hi Phil, really nice to hear from you. I certainly didn’t think you were whinging, I was just sad to hear that your work has made your retirement physically difficult. I live in Canberra over on the east coast and maybe your memory is good enough to remember that it’s the capital city of Australia. Perth is about 4000kms away but I have been to Albany, Mandurah and Darwin in my travels around our great brown land. I’m sorry that your mum passed away but I am glad you have a lot of happy memories of Australia. I am dealing with injuries too as my wife and I were hit head on about two years ago by a driver on drugs. We both suffered serious injuries but the driver and his friend in the other car were killed. Now I live with my right ankle fused, my right wrist fused and of course i'm right handed. My left shoulder was reconstructed and I have plates in my right shin from the knee almost to the ankle as that was split down the middle and leaked bone marrow and blood into my leg. I need special shoes because every bone in my right foot was fractured and most bones in my left as well so they changed shape. The airbags deployed but caused substantial hearing loss so I now have hearing aids. Now who’s whinging? I still get pain in various places and I’m still working out what I can’t do with my fused wrist. That’s very frustrating and my balance is hopeless as I’m still finding my new feet. Even with the accident we still feel lucky because we’re still alive, we can still walk and we’re still together. We are getting better every day but we have two friends that have been diagnosed with illnesses that make them worse everyday and will shorten their lives. I’m glad you get in your workshop and enjoy it. Doing things you love is the whole point of retirement even if what you do seems pointless to others. One of the things I love about YT is it shows there are other people out there doing more pointless things than me and collecting weirder things than me. Sorry, too much rambling. Cheers my friend and good luck. 👍👍👍
Señor mío, es usted un ARTISTA!!!. Ingeniero, soldador, orfebre, pintor, mecánico y puntos intermedios. He disfrutado ENORME este proceso de fabricación de una roladora de metales. Reciba mi respeto y reconocimiento... Desde Irapuato GTO, México.
I love it. Extremely nice fabrication with well thought through solutions and superb craftsmanship. Also a shoutout to the editor, very well done… and if it is your own editing… even more respect!
Who the hell is this guy! Not only he's incredibly skilled with the use of like a thousand different machines, but he's also amazing editing his videos! My respects to you, my friend. You're awesome!
The finished "machine" is a work of art but what for me is truly remarkable and satisfying is watching someone who possesses such professional skills in how to use all these machines as well as you do. Fine work my friend.
Awesome build, appreciate your time to entertain us :) Also cool little addon as i am into multi-function machines is two small detachable rollers at the top with a small pulley going down to a lever and wheel to power it from bottom rollers or have it attach to the case and have an pto or similar lol
I'm not a machinist but I am impressed. This is better than anything found in a store because it was hand made by a true master of the trade. Thank you for sharing your abilities.
Agree. First time watching his channel. Music with "lyrics" is awful. Music without is OK and editor did great job with synchronization . I will definitely check out his other videos.
Your skills are at another level my friend. We wold all be happy if you just talked instead of the music but I know that is actually a very hard thing to do . We are all people like you and seeing the little messups make us feel better. Your superhuman skills are incredible. Great work!!
Hi mate, I am now addicted to your videos, your fabrication skills are phenomenal and the finished products you turn out are mouthwatering, I absolutely love your video editing and the sound tracks you add make it impossible to fast forward. Much love and respect from the Land Downunder.
Madman as usual you are brilliant, thanks for showing us your creations! Everything seems easy ... but you must first do the project and then know how to use the equipment skillfully. It's a real pleasure to see you at work, by the way, book me a place near you the day after the end of the world, don't forget your equipment! 😁
Your "Metal sheet 25mm thick" must be very different to my county, cause where I'm from 25mm is just under an inch thick, but it does look thicker than 2.5mm, it looks about 7mm, which could be 25 gauge then, but its not 25mm. (oh, and really nice work there, that looks strong AF)
It’s a pleasure to watch someone who can work with their hands truly a great job, can I suggest 2 things, one is on the rollers you should put 2 rebates maybe 5mm and 10mm for rolling flat bar on its edge, and two for your own safety put a safety switch on both sides of that machine, the torque it is putting on those rollers will definitely pull you in, and it would be a shame to lose a great talent, I’m not criticizing at all, being a metal fabricator myself it’s frightening what something like that could do to you, 👍stay safe
Beautiful. One typo in the text, though. I doubt that sheet was 25mm thick. It's more likely 2.5mm ;-) Also, I think that what you called 'Profile pipe' at the end is usually called 'square tube' Not that it matters. The machine works, and I've seen less refined designs sold in stores.
The style of editing in this is unreal. Videos like this can so easily be made boring by poor editing but the choice of music and way everything’s put together is insane. Subbed
How did you do the "ghost" thread tapping? Nice touch! Your homemade metal roller does a better job than the factory made ones I've seen. Beautiful work!
I was surprised to see the thickness of the metal you were bending. I was expecting 1.5mm for the full width, and just maybe 5mm x 50mm. It not only works well, but looks really sharp with that paint job. BTW It was impossible to skip forward because the music was so compelling. Great job, great video. Nice sounds.
Bro you are to cool for school ! The way you put your clips together make it so fun to watch and your machinist skills are over the top. I have been working in the industrial machine field for 30 + years and I have not seen anyone as young as you with so much talent. I suppose you automation such as logic controllers as well. Lol. I believe I could hand you a turd and you could make it into a bar of gold. My hats off to you can't wait to watch your next one..
Music? What music? I don't think that that horrible noise could be called music. He put so much effort into making this video. Whatever could have made him include that sound? I muted it too.
L'intelligence,le savoir faire, mariés aux outils adéquats avec un acharnement poétique donnera des objets de grande qualité et de valeurs comme un tableau qui surgit des mains de Picasso ! Fantastique !
Just stumbled across your channel and I have to say that although I will never, ever attempt to do what you do, I am amazed at your high level of skill. Subscribed as a result. Only criticism ( my view only) is the music, otherwise incredible filming and editing.
First thing to say - your video production is excellent!!! Very well edited and filmed. Your machinery skill is awesome! That's a really nice bender you have created. Superb actually. 👌👌👌
@Made by Madman - Awesome build. With an Arduino one could add an encoder, to detect when the workpiece reaches a stop point at either end of its travel and reverses the direction. It would remove the guesswork out of having to manually switch direction. You could also combine a stepper motor, to progressively tighten the pinch roller at the end of each stroke, that could easily reproduce faster more consistent work, via presets catering for various different materials thicknesses and lengths. I hope my meanderings fuel your passion for invention. 👍🏻
Hey Madman, you're video editing skills are absolutly amazing! 😱 You earn much more followers and I think it will become true if you do more projects like this. The technical implemantation is sometimes improvable but we will fix this ;) Two last advices: Please never put pressing forces over the bearing balls or unsupported shafts. If you want to press a bearing on the shaft always use the inner ring, if you want to press it into an borehole you have apply the force on the outer ring. And a better and clearer title will generate more views ;)
I’m impressed with the skill level. I can see the high quality of expertise at young age. I’m the professional and can feel the quality of work. Keep it up young friend.
Firstly what a nice video you have put together, very enjoyable indeed 😁 With the equipment that you have and the right stock, and with your abilities there's nothing that you couldn't make for yourself, what a talented person you are 👍🏻
That’s the longest thing I’ve watched since downloading tictok. Mesmerising to see such talented creativity. I love it so much, it’s the last thing I would probably need but is so love a metal shop.
