In an exclusive interview with Business Today’s Sourav Majumdar, the former Raymond boss said that he would not want to interfere in the decision made by Gautam Singhania and Nawaz Modi Singhania. He made it clear that he stands by his daughter-in-law and will support her and not his son. On being asked if he would be open to speaking to his son if Nawaz Modi Singhania approaches him, Vijaypat Singhania said, "My first answer would be yes, I'd be open to meeting him. My second answer is that meeting him has no meaning because he won't listen to me." And if I say something which he doesn't like, he may scream at me, he may abuse me. He does all these kinds of things. So, I would probably try to keep away as much as I can," he added. Here’s an excerpt from the exclusive conversation

I had tears when I saw the interview. He spoke very well and Mr.Singhania is very intelligent, balanced and a true gentleman. As far Gautam is concerned I believe what goes around comes around. This is called Karma. In this bargain Gautam lost his family and father too. what did he achieve at the end. from Australia

At first it was very sad to see the plight of this man but as you dig into history you will find more skeletons in this family. Once the Sr Singhania was known to have deprived his brothers family of their right to inheritence, then his elder son and his family of it and now he is at the receiving end. Seems like a family where things were always very transactional. Not just that, his elder son accuses Sr Singhania of ill treating his mom ( Gautam Singhanias mom) too. Clearly not a family of great values to begin with and apple doesnt fall far from the tree.

I agree. Oldies are not always innocent. They more often than not, play the victim card. I have seen this play out in my family multiple times. Men were extremely abusive to their kith and kin and when their children abandoned them during their old age, they started crying foul. Cannot say for sure ki is case me kya hua and so I'd not like to pass any judgements, but yes, old people aren't always innocent. Half of the oldies who end up in old age homes actually deserve to be there. The remaining are genuinely the victim of circumstances/ungrateful abusive children.

You have gifted your property and business to your son , so what, when he is disrespecting you and made you leave the house, he has to return all what you gave him. Basically it is your hard earned money invested and grown business. So put a case on him and take back your property and give share to daughter-in-law and the the child just reasonably, not 75%. Most cruel colours they have shown.....i myself renounced such wealth....when i have heard a story..of a bird carrying a dead rat... many other birds following her and hurting her with beaks for the rat ...the bird starts bleeding and .....it let the rat go....
